The surgery in recent times, after new leadership took over, has dramatically improved in most areas: customer care, friendliness, efficiency.

flu clinic worked a dream - very quick and easy process. The staff administered the jab nicely and it was good

After seven unnecessary invitations I attended,booked in then found no actual system for patients being seen in any proper order. Seats for only a fraction of people,mainly elderly.This was happening whilst patients for other than flu jab were also in waiting room. It had not been properly thought through or exercised.

All patients were seen to in the order that they had checked in with majority of attending patients receiving their jab within a few minutes of arriving. I am sorry if during the time of your attendance there was a slight delay before you received your flu vaccine. I attended the surgery for my annual flue jab. Plenty of cheerful staff on hand to process the queue which moved swiftly - in & out in 5 minutes! However, I did receive 7 texts over 7 days inviting me to have the flue jab: 3 with a check-in time span of 08.30 to 12.30, 3 of 08.30 to 18.00 & further 1 of 08.30 to 12.30. I understand their enthusiasm to maximise take-up, but 7 texts seemed excessive.

With limited stock of flu vaccines we are keen to ensure our eligible patients are prioritised and have ample opportunity and notice to take up the vaccine to ensure better protection from flu through the upcoming winter months.
