    I have been suffering from excess ear mud causing me sharp pain in my right ear. I was advised by the GP to use Olive Oil drops for 2 weeks which have made it worse as the pain has increased and I have lost hearing completely in my right ear and not partially in my left! I cannot work, I cannot drive as I feel I am dangerous on the road without hearing so cannot take my children to school. I requested an appointment explaining the situation and was given one for 15 days from today - upon calling the surgery I was advised that they will do nothing as the advice from the GP was clear and was told the only thing I could do is to request another appointment. After doing so and requesting a call back to speak to the GP I received a single text message dismissing my request and advising they will not offer me help! Truly atrocious!

    I received a text message to book my flu jab-really easy to do-and arrived approximately 5 minutes early-the car park was full but a lovely lady directed me to the church car park. There was a large queue but I only waited about 10 minutes-a very polite lady was monitoring the queue and jab was done quickly and without fuss-very well run clinic this weekend.

    Extremely poorly on three occasions each time on the phone on hold for over one hour. Was stuck on caller 8 level on all occasions. After no movement I hung up and was forced to go to hospital. Why have a GP practice where you can't get an appointment. I have been trying to get a health check for last 3 years no appointment slots. Why does NHS fund this surgery. Do you actually deal with patients???? As everyone I know can't even get through to even book an appointment.

    This morning, I turned up at the surgery as I had a flu and Covid vaccination booked only to find it closed. Myself, and one other person, who also had an appointment for a vaccine waited approximately 15 minutes and no one turned up. Tried ringing but just got the recorded message to say the surgery was closed.

    Having had to park and walk over a mile away because parking not available on site waited over an hour to be seen standing the whole time in a slow moving queue. Having made an appointment seemed irrelevant as no checks on whether anyone had an appointment were done. Wish I had gone somewhere else as the whole experience was chaotic and disorganised

    Not for the first time, I have had to go in to the surgery as it took so long on the phone. I attempted this morning to book an urgent appointment so phoned at 8am on the dot & was answered with "number 2 in the queue", down to the first caller within 5 minutes. 40 minutes later there was still no response so I went in to the surgery, only to be told they are short staffed, and the process now is to to submit an online form which will be looked at in the next 2 days. This is not the first time I have been left as the first caller for far longer than necessary (once for well over an hour); even on occasions when I have been told to call them rather than do the slow process of online forms.

    I have been a patient here at Sunny Meed Surgery for many years and I have always been treated with professionalism and a lot of care. My recent visit regarding Pressure on my Eyes was dealt in an Excellent Service, by trying to get an Ophthalmologist as soon as possible to try to sort out a Glaucoma problem. I very much Appreciate all the Efforts and Excellent Service that I received in this very worrying situation. I very much appreciate it and I highly Recommend Sunny Meed Surgery as they have Always made all the Efforts to find a solution to my Health Problems. I find Sunny Meed Surgery an excellent practice.
