After completing Patchs I was encouraged to book a doctors appointment on the Patford House website. I noticed the next available appointment was at Sutton Benger. This is a nice little surgery. The appointment was ahead of time so no hanging around. The doctor was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Diagnosis was quick and a prescription sent to my choice of pharmacy to collect on my way home. Considering I would have to wait nearly 2 weeks for a doctors appointment at Patford House or Beversbrook it was definitely worth travelling to Sutton Benger on this occasion. I am aware that Patford House has had its problems but services are certainly improving. Patchs is a lot better than that dreadful Dr Link. The telephone system is better with a queueing system offering a call back without losing your place in the queue. Patients can select a time and place on the website for a Dr’s appointment. I haven’t tried the emergency appointment system so can’t comment on that.

The doctor I spoke to was very professional and explained everything I wanted to know and said if the symptoms persisted to go back and see him again.

I was able to request my preferred GP for a non urgent appointment, who was excellent and fast tracked my referral. The reception and admin staff are consistently helpful and friendly. This practice has worked so hard to make the improvements needed to transform the service. Thank you. I really appreciate your care.

Thank you so much for all the help I received as a temporary patient. All the staff were friendly and efficient. So very grateful. The NHS at its best. I was referred to hospital the same day and received the best treatment.

From using the Patch’s form, I received messages for appointments within 24 hours, to then seeing a nurse less than 48 hours later. Excellent service.

All though I arrived very early for my appointment the doctor saw me earlier than my appointment time. I felt my problem was taken seriously. I was examined and questioned carefully and appropriate further investigation advised and information given. The doctor was empathetic to my problem.

I always have a very positive experience when I get as far as the Doctors. The current Receptionists are very friendly and approachable. The only thing I find difficult/frustrating is having to book the appointment online which does not always go smoothly and be quite trying, especially as you aren’t feeling well when trying to do this. I would prefer to be able to phone up and make an appointment with a Receptionist ideally.

I arrived 10 minutes early went in 5 minutes early all staff were very friendly. The doctor who was carrying out my annual medication review asked several questions I had taken with me random B/P readings and blood sugar readings which she transferred onto my medical notes. We then had a chat about my general well being. I left the doctor after 15minutes at no time did I feel rushed it was a pleasant experience in a homely setting.
