  1. Review titled delays in receiving a GP sickness certificate

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 March 2025

completed the GP practice online form for a sickness certificate on Monday 3rd March 2025. Received a telephone call today on 10th March asking how can i be helped? Explained I needed a GP certificate for my employer, and was not happy I have had to wait a week. My employer expects a certificate on the first day of sickness (following self certification of 7 days). The delay has caused alot of stress for me. Advised by the practice to ask my employer to refer me to Occupational Health. Told the new certificate will expire at the end of the month. No idea when the certificate will start, or how to retrieve it (had surgery in Dec 2024).

  2. Review titled Awful service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Took the morning off work for 2 appointments. First apointment for my son and second for me. My sons appointment was fine, but I then sat waiting 45 minutes for my appointment. I then hit my cut off and had to return to work - as a teacher there was no cover for my afternoon and I couldn't leave children unattended so had to leave. Having told me after 25 minutes of waiting that I was next and if I had to leave they could reshedule my appointment, I was shocked and dismayed when after 45 minutes they then said as I had 'missed my appointment there was nothing they could do and I would have to start again to request a new appointment'. I had no call from the doctor in place of my face to face appointment and no acknowledgement of any inconvinience caused or even checking in on me. I had already waited over 2 weeks for the appointment and now i'll have to wait another 2 weeks and take more unpaid time off work and still won't be guaranteed to see a doctor.

  3. Review titled No one on the phone or desk

Rated 1 star out of 5

Calling at the desk 20th February 2025 to try and make an appointment for an unpleasant chest infection to be told no one is available to try and make an appointment as all the staff are on training. How can this be allowed to happen, I will be making an official complaint

  4. Review titled almost three weeks for a GP appointment - Why?

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 February 2025

completed a online form requesting a GP appointment on 28th January 2025. I received my first telephone call from the surgery today 10th February 2025. I am offered an appointment for 14th February 2025. That is almost three weeks away since I first contacted the surgery. Is this where we are at the moment? I thought routine appointments are meant to be five days according to your website.

  5. Review titled Good professional care

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 26 February 2025

This practice has a supportive clinical team who are able to provide appointments as soon as required with the online app triage system and helpful and available phone and in person administration staff. The fact the blood test department is on site expedites everything and I have been very pleased with the efficiency and quality of care and speed at processing requests and being seen. Thank you all.

  6. Review titled Difficulty in accessing medical care

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Moe - Posted on 16 December 2024

I have a significant wound that requires regular dressing changes to prevent infection. While I am willing and able to manage this myself, I am unable to obtain the necessary supplies without a prescription from my doctor. Unfortunately, booking an appointment to see a doctor has proven to be extremely difficult and far more complicated than it has been in the past. My discharge letter from King’s College Hospital A&E, which requested that I be seen by a doctor within a week. Despite this request and your awareness of the situation, no follow-up has occurred. This failure highlights the breakdown of systems meant to support the care of patients. I am deeply concerned about the risk of infection due to the lack of access to dressing supplies and appropriate medical oversight. Accessing basic medical care should not be this challenging, particularly for something as critical as wound management. Furthermore, I previously requested an appointment for a damaged thumb and have yet to receive the care I needed. It is unacceptable that patients are only attended to when conditions become life-threatening. Preventative care and timely medical attention are essential to avoid unnecessary complications and ensure patient well-being.

  7. Review titled Practice Manager leads by example

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Moe - Posted on 20 December 2024

I had the pleasure of being assisted by the Practice Manager and I cannot commend her enough for her professionalism and care. She was extremely helpful and attentive to my needs, addressing my concerns with urgency and efficiency. Previously, I had struggled to get the support I needed for wound care and management. However, the Practice Manager immediately took action, thoroughly investigating my situation. She quickly arranged for me to see a GP at the earliest opportunity and ensured that I could collect the necessary supplies from my local pharmacy to manage my wound care effectively. In the interim, her team organized an appointment with a nurse to change my wound dressing, ensuring that I received timely care. I am deeply grateful for the Practice Manager's efforts, as well as the dedication and responsiveness of her team. Their ability to listen, understand, and implement effective solutions made a significant difference in resolving my situation. Thank you and your wonderful team.

I've booked many appointments with this gp in the last 2 years the main one is for my leg they referred me for a xray at kings witch no one contacted me when the date was after making me wait 4 to 5 months I have a lump in my ear and they telling me u have to rebook because a letter was wrong that got sent off. That's on their end so don't know why I have to rebook again and for the appointment for my knees when I called them up about it to see what was happening they told me there was nothing on the system when I remember telling them the first time I called back because no one contacted me to rebook the appointment for me again the person on the phone said there was nothing on the system I already feel like ending my crappy life now and all this neglect is making me worse every time I call somethings seems to be wrong or there's nothing on the system. I'm sick of rebooking for nothing to happen about it

  9. Review titled Terrible Attitude

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 December 2024

The person who I was dealing with over the phone relating to flu vaccinations for my children has the worst attitude I have ever encountered at this surgery. Rude, obnoxious and above herself. She really needs to take lessons on how to deal with people as she’s in the wrong job. Shocking!!

  10. Review titled Take a long time to issue routine appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 October 2024

I completed a askmygp on 21st October and 23rd October. Despite two further telephone calls to chase these requests up, I did not receive a response until 30th October. I did say on both occasions on askmygp, I was available anytime when asked, but despite this, staff from the GP practice still called me and offered me, the earliest appointment which was a further week of 5th November 2024. It has taken 15 days (this includes the weekends) to have an appointment with a gp. Not impressed
