Review titled Great service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mrs n mehmood - Posted on 27 September 2024
I would like to say a big thank you for excellent care provided during my difficult time with back and leg pain. The turn around time for MRI with results I did not expect. Thank you for listening to my concerns and taking the time to help me

Review titled Bad experience
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Ella Kopan - Posted on 14 September 2024
I went to the practice for a smear test and nurse was shockingly unprofessional. It took very long time for her to “reach the point” and then she was scratching and scratching and scratching. When I told her I’ve had enough and she should stop, she didn’t listen, she didn’t stop, she said she must have enough material for the test otherwise I would need to do retest. It was a torture. Practice should employ a nurse who is more experienced and more qualified for this kind of job

Dear Ella Thank you for taking the time to give your feed back. We could not find you on our system and realised that you had visited the Out of Hours services hosted at the Allum Medical Centre and had not seen our regular nurse. I have spoken to management of this service and they will speak to the said nurse re your feedback. Please accept our apologies for your experience. Review titled Referral to Pharmacist.
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 06 August 2024
I attended the practice today to see if I could get an appointment due to infected spider bites. The receptionist explained that there were no further appointments but she could refer me to the pharmacist for a consultation. I phoned the pharmacy to arrange a time and my details had already been sent over. Extremely efficient and helpful. Fortunately I was prescribed antibiotics by the Pharmacist!

Review titled Wonderful Diabetes Monitoring
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Rob Damon - Posted on 31 July 2024
In line with the Allum Practice's ethos of preventative medicine, I saw the HCA for a check-up and she was as always highly professional, thorough, resourceful and kind. I think this service is absolutely brilliant. There is absolutely nothing which could be be better.

Review titled No doctors!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mr David Millar - Posted on 04 June 2024
Joined the practice over a month ago as a Asthma patient. Tried multiple times to see a doctor and even have a asthma review without success. I told the practice I am asthmatic and have a chest infection and need some antibiotics to help clear, and unable to help without seeing a doctor which you can't do. Very old fashioned system with the 8am doctor scramble to get a doctors appointment. They want new patients as they get paid well for each one, but just do not have the doctors for the amount of patients they have. Feel like gone back in time as thought the 8am scramble was in the past! Do not join as a new patient, they have too many patients already and you will not get an appointment.

Review titled Frustrating and demoralising
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 10 May 2024
My partner’s regular prescription requests have apparently not been received again (although her email once again confirms that they were sent) This has happened often enough that she has started sending redundant requests from multiple email accounts to ensure that they actually get one, but apparently even this is not sufficient. As no confirmation of receipt is ever sent we have no way of knowing whether the request is successful until waiting three days to see if comes through to the pharmacy. If, as in this case it has not, the practice offers no help or recourse other than to call back after the weekend and put the request through again, adding potentially another week to the process. Meanwhile her medication has run out, and she is forced into withdrawal without any consideration for her health or safety. This happens over and over again and nothing is ever done to improve the situation or prevent it from happening again.
