The lady on the reception desk this morning, 20 November,on the was so helpful, pleasant and paitence. I noticed, as I waited, that she was like this with all who came to the desk. Thank you for a good welcome.

Really great to receive a friendly welcome from the Receptionist this am. Makes a good deal of difference. Appointment was on time with good attention given. Thanks.

Apart from long waits on the phone to get an appointment, I find all the staff extremely efficient, thorough and kind. Both nurses who have taken my blood tests have done it brilliantly and l don't give blood easily! They have a lovely relaxed manner.

Just had a blood test and in my lifetime I am 71 I have never had a blood test taken so gently Phlebotomist I saw today unfortunately I am not allowed to her name 21 11 24 When we came to see the doctor last week firstly we were spoken to by a student nurse then the doctor arrived very sympathetic and helpful. A fantastic practice

Contacted practice as received message to respond to text. Unable to respond as patches was down nationwide. Only knew this as I work as a clinician. Had to wait on the phone for 30 mins approx. even though i was number 1 in the queue. when receptionist (R) answered the phone, she kept asking me the same question 3x over and I asked if she could hear me okay and she responded yes. I was trying to explain to her the problem but she would not let me speak, not even for 5 seconds, kept interrupting. Very frustrating. I asked her kindly multiple times to let me speak, but even then she did not respect my wish. I tried to explain to her that patches is down nationwide therefore I cannot read the message and cannot respond. I know this because I work as a practitioner, and she responded "oh here we go again your a practitioner, yadee, yadee, yadee, ya ...". I then decided to discontinue this conversation, it was not productive. The reason for my call was, I have been suffering in pain for the last 8 months with stomach cramps and got diagnosed with multiple fibroids, on top I have been looking after 3 elderly people, one being paralysed neck downwards, I work a full time job on top, therefore making it difficult to get through to the surgery. This receptionist, who you would think may have used a more empathetic approach to communication happened to find mouthing off was a more appropriate response. How do they employ people like this? Obviously nowadays everything is recorded, so you can listen to it and learn from it. Previously when I complained the practice manager never got back to me. Since the advent of PCNs customer service has completely deteriorated, care has been compromised and our government knows this.

This is one of the worst GP practices I have ever had to have any contact with . The wait to get through on the phone is endless! I have rang at 08:00 this morning and the message is telling me I am caller number 9 in the queue for 10 mins! If you dare to leave it until a couple of minutes past 8am, you could be hold for 30 mins or more. There does appear to be a need for more telephone support, particularly in the mornings. The service does not improve much over the day either, you can be on hold for a prolonged period. My advice - go the practice directly if you can to make an appt.

I have recently had two appointments with a doctor at the surgery. The best experience I’ve ever had. A caring person with a great bedside manner who I felt went out of her way to help me. Really appreciated the follow up phone call too after she had referred me for an MRI scan. Many thanks.

Very good GP consultation. Two problems dealt with and clear management plan. Further tests arranged (for the same day) and email link sent as promised. Only minor issue was that I had to wait 3 weeks for the appointment but as the problem wasn’t urgent, this wasn’t a major concern. Very happy with the service.

I was asked to attend for a blood pressure review but turned out to be a blood test. If I had not mentioned that this appointment was supposed to be a blood pressure review I doubt my my blood pressure would have been taken. Having undergone open heart surgery I would have thought that the practice would have shown concern to my blood pressure. I have no criticism of the practioner who was both professional and friendly but having received a text stating this was a BP review I am left thinking is my BP ok ? I would be grateful if the practice manager could contact me as I have always been very satisfied how I have been treated and am aware that GP practices are regularly criticised . I think that the Croft is an excellent practice from my own experience but just wish to question this require Thanks Russ Parton
