    My first interaction in person with the service after being transferred from Morley health service. Easily booked an appointment within 48 hours, seen on the day with less than a five minute wait by a Physician Associate. Problem identified, referral made and confirmed within 24 hours by the hospital. Great efficient service friendly staff.

    Phoned for blood results nice lady answered very efficiently and give me my results quickly. This put my mind at rest.

    I asked for an expedite letter. It took 2/3 months, but a week after I asked for it, I was told it was already done. I rung the hospital who told they had never received it. I ended up in hospital with serious health problems. All because they couldn’t be bothered to chase my letter up.

    Firstly, please accept our apologies for any upset we may have caused after your recent contacts with the surgery. We are sorry for the delay in dealing with your expedite letter and that the hospital never received the letter. Unfortunately, we are unable to investigate your concerns fully as this feedback has been made anonymously. However, if you would like to contact the surgery and ask to speak to the Admin Support Manager we will look to resolve any issues you had and what improvement can be made going forward.

    We’ve had multiple bad experiences getting appointments here. The GP’s and Advanced nurse practitioners are all lovely once you actually get appointments. Phone lines open at 8am and if you don’t ring at that time you have no chance. Despite the myth on the recorded message saying ‘appointments are released throughout the day’. The online system hardly shows any availability even when you check at 7pm on the dot when they tell you to. My husband checked in on the screen for his appointment last time he went and it didn’t register he was there. He had to wait over 2 hours to be seen. He checked with reception after 20 mins or so of waiting. They admitted the system can be glitchy. I got through on a terrible phone line this morning and was told 10:30am for an appointment but when I got there they told me it was 10:10 and that was it. It may have been my mistake with the bad line but surely they can get faulty lines fixed to save this confusion. I have been very unwell for a week. Luckily after some heated discussions with my husband (I didn’t have the strength to argue) they fit me in half an hour later as an emergency. Lucky they did as I’ve been told I have laryngitis. It’s always about what they can’t do for you when you call them. Not what they can. If it wasn’t for the nice doctors I would change surgeries.

    Had an informative talk with the pharmacist in relation to medication that I had been taking. She explains the pros and cons of why I was taking it and we came to an agreement that it was not necessary to take them at this stage. A review of this would take place in September When I had my annual check up

    Required support for a family member who was unwell. The reception team were outstanding in care navigation and empathy. The doctor was also caring and compassionate in a difficult situation- well done and thank you all!

    Had a problem with an item on repeat prescription. GP pharmacist tracked the item down at another local chemist for me, sent a prescription immediately. Couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you!!

    Having recently experienced a diagnosis of a progressive neurological disorder I am so grateful to the team for the care and compassion that they provide. Staff are friendly and accommodating, doctors ring after work so I am able to chat. The prescription team are incredible, making ensuring that I have medication when I need it. I am fortunate to have been a patient for over 20 years and highly recommend this practice. Thank you for the excellent service and care.

    I was diagnosed with a serious condition 3 days before Xmas in a very offhand way with little information and just a text giving me a link to a website for information on what to do this obviously upset me a great deal and sent my blood pressure and anxiety levels up Since then no matter how much I have rung or who I have spoken to doctors,pharmacists and reception staff they have all been very patient with me and shown understanding of how I was and am feeling Although still wading through what's wrong with me I feel I can call and will be treated with respect and understanding I understand that this country historically treated my condition when worse later down the line hence my first experience but hopefully the NHS are changing how it deals with patients from the begining and that can only be for the better Thanks to the staff who I have spoken to recently who have helped and supported me I am very grateful for your patience

    I have been a patient for 2.5 years and in that time there have been many noticeable improvements made. I feel very lucky that I can get an appointment when I need one, I am treated with understanding and empathy and most of all I am listened to and involved in my care….. well done all of you, you are doing a really good job in difficult times.
