    I take things literally. When booking on the app it says online face to face appointment. So at home I sat waiting for Dr to contact me. When I called the practice got told the online meant I booked online for a appointment at practice. The receptionist said no-one has ever said that . I asked about 20 people that day including the lady I saw at the practice they all said that they would of thought it was an online appointment So I am not the only one even the neurotypicals think that way Probably why the practice says that so navy people miss appointments Maybe take some accountability and change the wording so it is clear

    Very quick assessment by the GP of my illness and referred the same day to hospital with an appointment the next day. Cannot fault the speed and efficiency.

    This morning I have been for a smear test which was explained in detail as to why it's important. I was put completely at ease. The nurse was very caring and professional and easy to talk to. The test was over and done with in a minute and didn't hurt to have done. A very positive patient centered experience thank you

    I was phoning on behalf of my elderly mother. The receptionist gave me time to explain my mother’s condition and booked her in for a telephone appointment the same morning After that appointment we were told that a Doctor would visit in the afternoon, which he did I can always count on a friendly helpful member of staff at this practice. Thank you

    Ok as we are all aware GPs and all the NHS are under extreme pressure ....this is where we as patients should be considerate to others and the team however this feels to as individuals it's not always possible when we all have health conditions to be dealt with .... However the team at fountain medical center have been great working with us as a family and have done there upmost very best with there care and concern given to us over the years ...the doctor's , nurses and reception team have shown so much care towards us and have got us through extreme difficult and challenging times .... Thankyou to all the team ...even when mistakes have happened (as we are only human )...things have been soon rectified ....overall great team and great care. And a huge Thankyou to you all

    Over the last few months the level of patient care from this practice is not acceptable. Our daughter was feeling unwell recently and they could not offer an appointment, we were advised they had no appointments left for the day despite they say they release appointments through out the day! We were advised to try a drop in centre but when we called them we were advised they were not able to help. We were then given another number to call and we ended up going on a 16 mile trip so we could get the medical help we needed. What if we didn’t have transport? This level of patient care is not acceptable! Our next issue was for my wife who has been struggling to get an appointment, we finally managed to get a call back via the online portal and was given a time slot of 8.30 & 8.40 today. At 9.00am no call had been received so I called only to be advised it could be anytime in the next four hours, why? No where did it say on the portal it was a four hour window!! If we are give a time slot why could you not keep to it? I was then advised if I wanted to make a complaint I needed to come into the surgery to pick up a form, why? This is just more inconvenience and extra fuel costs. The website for this practice is an absolute joke as well, there is no email address or contact us page form to fill in, why? Is it because you don’t want to make it easier for patients to complain or be able to raise issues at the appalling level of patient care you are providing. You are often quick to send texts to say you need us to give an updated BP reading, is that because you are paid for each of these texts you send by the NHS? The practice still seems to be hiding behind the covid crisis but life for everyone is getting back to normal so it’s about time they were as well. I have been at this practice for over 20 years and the level of patient care is getting worse every year. There always seems to be an excuse why you can’t get through on the phones or lack of appointments. I think it’s about time you started to provide the level of care patients deserve and a thorough investigation needs to be conducted by the NHS.

    Please accept our apologies for any upset we may have caused after your recent contacts with the surgery Mark. We are very sorry that you feel our level of patient care is not acceptable and you had to travel 16 miles. Regarding the issue with your wife, our clinicians do try their best to contact patients at their allocated appointment time but unfortunately if they have to spend longer than their ten-minute time slots with other patients this causes a knock-on effect. They do try to catch up but sometimes this is not possible. We will take on board your comments about our website and to look at any improvements we can make.
