The nurse practitioner and i can’t remember his name was very kind and knowledgeable. The receptionist was also very nice, sometimes a stern lady answers but this lady was very nice and helpful

The appointment with the nurse was good, efficient, friendly. Unfortunately my recent call with a GP wasn’t so positive. I felt not listened to, had to remind the GP twice of something pertaining to my health, and other options were not explored. I felt that the whole exchange was about expediency rather than consultation.

The surgery hasn't got time for patients they just fob you off should of stayed with my old doctor surgery at least they care. And Drayton now taking on cosham patients there's no hope NHS has gone done the pan. Had to pay for treatment privately.

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry you are unhappy with our service. Should you wish to change surgeries, there is plenty of information on the NHS website about those local to you.

Twenty minutes before I was due into surgery I received a phone call which I missed, rang the surgery to see if there was a problem to be told the nurse had cancelled because I apparently am not due to May! Even after receiving a letter.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, as we do not send the central recall letters, we do not know what has been put in them. Our nurses check through their clinics to ensure that people they are seeing are due their investigation as we are unable to do it before it is due. If you believe this to be in error, please bring a copy of the letter in to the surgery so we can see it. Many thanks.

Practice nurse was effective and quick with diagnosis. The only negative I was told when dispensing prescription on the day that the GP's only have 2slots to sign prescription as they are to busy to sign each prescription. This caused me a lot of pain and stress as I constantly having to go back and forth to the chemist because the prescription did not get to chemist till late afternoon, as for someone who has no transport which added even more to problems

Thank you for your comments and I am sorry you are unhappy with the current set up. Any of our non-prescribers have to send their prescriptions through to a GP for sign off and there are two set times for this to be done; at the end of the morning and at the end of the afternoon. All of our GP's are running their own clinics and so it would be a bad use of time and resource to have them sign each prescription as it is needed - this would also lead to other people not being able to be seen. I am sorry you dislike this process, however it is more important for us to see people when we can and have a prescription signed of later int he day. Most chemists offer a delivery service so it would be worth enquiring with yours if this is available.

Friendly and helpful receptionist making it easy to book next appointments. Nearly always seen on time and never feel rushed during appointments. Thorough tests undertaken before diagnosing my condition rather than jumping to conclusions and now my ongoing treatment and follow up appointments work well. Very lucky to be looked after by such an excellent team.

The e-consult service is excellent. It saves the surgery and the patient a lot of time. Appointment at the surgery was also positive. Waiting room was not crowded and the consultation did not feel rushed. Happy with the plan agreed with the GP. I think the service offered by Drayton surgery is first class. Well done to you all .

I feel thst econsult is an excellent way to get advice/treatment without using an appoinent at the surgery unless gp advises you they need to see you.
