After the last few years of limited face to face appointments and telephone consultations its good to see things getting back to some form of normality.I have had excellent prompt service over the past few months

Quick response to e-consult. However prescribed an item that was unavailable and it took 2 weeks for a prescription change request to be processed by the surgery. That is unacceptable.

The doctor had phoned me two weeks prior to face to face so I felt she knew my history when it came to my appointment. She then really listened to my concerns, coming away from her computer and genuinely taking time to listen and consider my words in a sensitive manner. I felt I was treated compassionately which I was grateful for because it was a very personal issue. I fully understand the strain on GPs but as a patient with health concerns- this authentic listening was so important.

The number of dactors listed yet the waiting area virtually empty of patients.yet waiting on occasions for long delays to get to have a face to face with a GP.

To be able to have a face to face appointment. E consult is very good but it should never replace face to face appointments where patients are able to discuss their problems and treatment rather than just receive a response. The GP who saw me was courteous, sympathetic and thorough. Very very happy

Being stressed before even ringing for an appointment is not ideal (see 'could anything be improved') Once the call was answered the receptionist was polite and understanding. I was given the opportunity to attend Waite Street surgery, Cosham, which wasn't a problem. I'm not sure what the alternative would have been if I couldn't get there. Attended the surgery and appointment was on time. The Dr was reassuring and I was dealt with efficiently. I rarely need a Dr but was pleased overall with the experience.

I do find using the online booking system for booking appointments can be hard finding available dates, even if you try to book well in advance.
