    They’ve made some changes lately. It’s now easier to book an appointment. Problem is, you turn up 10 minutes before the appointment time to wait an hour or so for the appointment. This is common. Everyone complains about it. I’d say anywhere between a 40 and 70 minute wait is average even if earlier in the day. How can they get behind so quickly?

    There were too many questions for the reason of asking to speak to a doctor, one detail as in my case urine problems should have been enough without going through all my other health issues which are treated and whixh se showing on my record.

    I have benefitted hugely from the new way the surgery offers for booking appointments online. It may not be for everyone but it does save time when phoning and holding in a queue at certain times of the day. I completed a simple form detailing my symptoms, and was triaged straightaway, so that I received a call back from a GP within ten minutes. He was able to discuss my symptoms, issue a prescription without seeing me in person, based on my symptoms and medical history, which was sent straight through to the pharmacy - and was delivered to my door. It is a huge improvement to the system which made a real difference to me at a time of great pain and discomfort.

    It was easy and quick to contact and make an appointment. The Firs person was pleasant and friendly! In this occasion I was very satisfied with the service provided by the The Firs Medical centre .

    I have been at the firs for around 7 years and it has got better and better. The reception staff are lovely, you can get through on the phone, and the online booking system is quick and effective. Today I got a same day appointment for my poorly baby, and they always sort out timely appointments for me when needed. Really appreciate the hard work of the staff

    Previously we use to wait 45 mins to book appointment but I was shocked when I called I was no 3. Also they picked up the phone and was polite . I was told to follow a link and booked for someone to review. Got a gp call in 2 hrs wow. Went to pick up blood test paper within an hour. Who ever is in charge of the surgery now deserves praise and a pay rise. The surgery actually fulfilling its purpose. Hallelujah

    I went into the surgery as I needed a blood test, my forms were not ready and couldn’t be reprinted but a very helpful person helped me out and produced new forms. He made a stressful situation much better.
