    I have a huge admiration for nhs workers and the pressure they are all under; these is clearly visible here. Had a doct call couple weeks ago to review blood pressure tablets as was having some issue. the gp(possibly off uni) did not inspire any confidence and after 30 minutes which she spend reading some text book, some new meds were prescribed to me. She could not figure out is these would interfere with a current other therapy I have; " if you get worse call 999" that's the advice... no care nothing. On a separate issue, the hospital send to the firs a letter twice in 6 months but seemingly got lost; I forward it myself to the practice & the the saga of getting the nurse appointment started. when eventually got the call I thought yeah success at last: not to be. went in today to see the nurse. The booster vaccination was not available on site; the nurse had no idea to start with then consulted with another gp, nothing ,, so she went to the floor above and kept me waiting (standing) for 10min. she then told me the medicine for the booster had to be picked up at local chemist where the prescription had been sent 3 weeks earlier. went to the chemist and they had nothing of such. I gave up... what a sad state of affair the nhs has become. I only hope this was a rare occasion and other patients have better luck (and care)than the one I had.

    Called surgery for an appointment, no queue, answered straight away on a Monday morning! Booked in to see the very knowledgeable and friendly nurse and then doctors appointment was booked later same morning. Receptionists are friendly and that helps when you aren't feeling well.

    The doctor phoned me the same day as I put in a request for an appointment. He agreed to do a telephone appointment as I was too unwell to travel to the surgery. He was supportive and offered me the medication I needed. Much improved practice.

    The online appointment system is great. I have had speedy responses from the Doctors and a fast referral to the hospital with a next day appointment and a same day follow up once the Doctor received the results. I am a new patient and so far so good.

    Initially I was very pleased and relieved with the speed of getting an appointment, but unfortunately I was very disheartened with my experience with the GP locum I saw. I am a nurse and I don't expect GPs to know everything, I am deeply supportive of the NHS and all its staff and no how challenging current times are, but care, compassion and understanding cost nothing. It took a lot for me to make my appointment, I always try to do everything I can to help myself and I felt extremely unwell. I was feeling very dizzy and nauseous when I arrived at the surgery. The GP had no eye contact with me at any point throughout the appointment, just looked at her computer screen, did not appear to listen to the symptoms I was struggling to tell her about, which were due to terrible vestibular migraines and which I was wanting support, help and advice with. Having taken my pulse and blood pressure 107 and 158/78 she told me she would refer me for an ECG. I asked why, telling her my pulse was normally 84 and that I had my BP taken twice at local pharmacies and had been told it was OK and that it was most likely raised because I felt so stressed and exhausted. I had thought I might at least have left the practice feeling heard and understood and with a little bit of hope, but I left feeling bruised and battered. I burst into tears on my husband and said I don't ever want to see her again and I want to change practice. I have written this review because I hope the practice will read it and want to improve the experience for other users. I rarely complain, because I know there are many fantastic practitioners out there, but I feel strongly that the person I saw needs to have their practice, challenged and supported to improve.

    In the last month or so I have had prompt and very helpful responses to queries sent using their online - Klinik - service. I even got a telephone call on a Saturday when I had experienced difficulty with my repeat prescriptions. The great improvement is because the Practice was taken over by new management. Long may that continue!

    I’ve been a patient of this practice since 2008. To say that the level of service and medical care was substandard before the management of the practice was taken over would have been an massive understatement. However, I can’t believe the improvement since this practice has been taken under new management. It’s literally day and night! The staff is so much more proactive, helpful and caring. Since the take over I’ve experienced great service from the medical staff as well as from the administrative staff. The receptionist has gone beyond and above to help me solve an urgent problem. she then helped me again on two other occasions. I had a great one to one discussion with the surgery pharmacist- which I didn’t even know that had before the take over- perhaps they didn’t. All in all I can’t believe the improvement at this GP practice. For the 1st time I feel that I can actually trust them with my health.

    Since this practice was taken over the website seems to be closed half the time and i can't get through to them. I am left feeling upset because my needs are not being dealt with properly and the reason i am given is because i have a chronic condition. I have been told this more than once since the new people in charge have taken over. It seems to be impossible to get an experience doctor to talk to, i'm never sent for regular blood test etc...being labelled and shoved out the door is no way to treat someone who is just trying to get better.

    i needed to either email or arrange appointment with the practice - i work like everyone else, so to find that the so-called "klinik service" is disabled at the weekend and that there is no email either to leave is disgraceful - if you thought it was bad before the change of management, its way worse now - the fact that even during hours yoy cannot call and book an appointment any more is ridiculous! not all people can or want to fill in some stupid online form that does not give the option of you putting the info you want, plus surely thus now becomes data protection issue as we dont know who is actually reading the info on these forms. it could be anyone and my data is for my GP only, not anyone who happens to read the forms

Please note the surgery is operational from Monday to Friday 8-6:30pm. If you need a weekend appointment you can request one on Saturday or Sunday by calling 0208539999. You can also call the surgery during the week and the reception team is more than happy to fill out the online form on your behalf if you are unable to do so. We can assure you our online platform is approved for use by NHS Digital and has passed all security protocols.
