Appointment on time, blood test carried out along with a super helpful and friendly chat. Left extra happy as I could have a December appointment on the date/tine needed. Thank you!

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding your experience with the surgery. We are sorry to hear that your experience with our practice did not meet your expectations. We will always offer both Covid-19 and Flu vaccinations to those patients of the surgery who are eligible to receive it. If you were declined the Covid-19 vaccination this may mean you are not eligible this year. Please see below the national criteria for Autumn/Winter 2024 - You may be offered a COVID-19 vaccine if you: -are aged 65 or over -are pregnant -are aged 6 months to 64 years and have an increased risk of getting seriously ill from COVID-19 because of a health condition or treatment -live in a care home for older adults -are a frontline health or social care worker On a public space we are not be able to comment on individual cases as this would be a breach of confidentiality. I have tried to look into this further for you however cannot locate your record from the information provided. If you would like to discuss this with the practice please contact us on 01737 761 201 where we can discuss your experience in further detail. Thank you for your time and consideration and we hope to have the opportunity to discuss your concerns with you directly. Kind Regards, Rachel Lynch Practice Manager Greystone House Surgery

My nurse was very understanding. She could sense I was anxious and distracted me while I had a blood test. She was patient and kind. A lovely lady!

  5. Review titled winter jabs (flu and covid)

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 02 November 2024

welcomed by a volunteer, directed to reception, appointment checked, directed to medical staff, brief wait to be attended, a few questions to check identity and no allergic reactions, a jab in each shoulder (hardly felt a thing) and all done. In and out in five minutes, well organised and efficient.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding your experience with the surgery. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed your wife was not offered a Covid-19 vaccination this year. The National criteria for this Autumn's Covid-19 vaccination has changed since last year so unfortunately your wife may no longer be eligible for the vaccine as your carer if she does not fit into one of the national categories. If your wife falls into one of the below categories, then she should be eligible for a vaccination and please contact the surgery: -Aged 65 or over -Have a serious long-term health condition -Are having treatment or medication that means you are at increased risk -Are pregnant -Are in long-stay residential care home for older adults -Are a frontline health and social care worker or staff working in care homes for older adults On a public space we are not be able to comment on individual cases as this would be a breach of confidentiality. If you would like to discuss this with the practice please contact us on 01737 761 201 where we can discuss your experience in further detail. Thank you for your time and consideration and we hope to have the opportunity to discuss your concerns with you directly. Kind Regards, Rachel Lynch Practice Manager

  10. Review titled Nice staff but seem disorganised

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Andy - Posted on 12 October 2024

Seems this surgery is going downhill a bit. Have not had terrible experiences but it is not as good as it used to be. Had some very scary texts regarding my medication recently only to get another shortly afterwards to tell me not to worry. Was prescribed medication by my consultant only to have it questioned by gp. All sorted but had to go to consultant directly for a paper prescription. My condition is life changing so was so anxious about this. Walked past surgery next door today on my way to covid and flu jabs. No queues, no issues. Greydtone, queuing out of door onto the road. Should I move? Maybe.

Thank you for your time and consideration and we hope to have the opportunity to discuss your concerns with you directly. In relation to our vaccination clinic on Saturday, I do apologise if the reason for the queue and delay was not communicated to you. Our team on the front door, front desk and queue line were consistently informing patients throughout the day for the reason for the delay to try and keep everybody informed and updated. Unfortunately the clinic started slightly later than expected due to a technical issue, as well as our supervising GP and multiple vaccinators calling in absent. We quickly arranged for another supervising GP to attend the site as without one this would have meant cancelling almost 800 patients (1600 vaccinations). I do apologise if this was not communicated to you as we did our best throughout the day to inform all patients, apologise for the wait and thank everyone for their patience. Kind Regards, Rachel Lynch Practice Manager
