    I spoke to the lead from the social prescriber team today. Following an information meeting we were invited to in February I felt it easy to contact him about support for my father. He listened to my concerns and made immediate email referrals to the appropriate agencies. I cannot recommend him highly enough and am grateful for the support from the practice. Dementia is a difficult journey and it’s reassuring to have the support needed. Thank you

    I am currently taking a medication that requires frequent blood tests. I was unable to attend a blood test in February due to illness and this was re-scheduled for a Saturday - which was immensely appreciated as I work in dedication and find it difficult to take time to attend week day appointments. I attended a blood test appointment today and was also offered a health screening as well as a check in regarding other medication. The staff were extremely helpful in scheduling this around my work commitments. This is very much appreciated. Keep up the good work!!

    Today I came in for my cervical screening test, & the lovely young lady was so informative & polite. She talkd me through everything she was going to do & when. She respected my choice not to talk during the procedure, making me feel valued & listened to. She's a credit to the Surgery

    The attention and care from the senior social prescriber gave my mother and her mobility needs were way above any expectations I had. It was personal, knowledgable and very diligent. Receptionists are also caring and help as much as they can.

    I have had a big issue with their new online booking service, I have been with this practice for 30 years. I phoned to make an appointment but was told I could only do it online between 8 to 10 i told the receptionist that I could not do this as I work in a people's house. she then said I could phone to ask for advice between 8 and 10 again if I can't get online because of my job. she told me there was nothing else she could do and put the phone down on me. I'm still unable to make an appointment. it is like the doctors no longer want to have patients. what was a lovely helpful friendly staff has now gone. I feel perturbed for the elder people in my village's lake of help.

    Dear Patient Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on the NHS website. We are sorry that you did not have a positive experience when trying to book an appointment recently. Our online system is currently open from 7am-10am to submit a request for an appointment. If you are unable to do this yourself during these times, you can phone the surgery (between 8-10am) for a member of the team to complete on your behalf. Alternatively, you come into the practice and complete a paper form and hand it to the receptionist any time between 8-6.30pm. Please note if you are handing the form in after 10am, it will be processed the following working day. We much prefer deal with any issues directly as we always hope to resolve any concerns a patient may have, therefore please do not hesitate to get in touch with us should you wish to discuss any concerns in the future.     It’s impossible to get through on the phone, as you are on hold for so long, you can only phone at certain times, you cannot make an appointment in person even though they have the system in front of them, the receptionist just tell you to phone up or go online which take at least 2 days for a reply, when I went in there was only one person waiting to be seen, I have to say in my opinion… it’s rubbish.

    Dear Patient Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on the NHS website. We are sorry to hear that you have not had a positive experience when trying to book an appointment. Our phonelines can be busy at certain times throughout the day, particularly when we are dealing with urgent calls between 8-10am and 2-4pm. Patients are able to contact us any time after 10am for general enquiries. We do have a queue buster system in place which enables patients to end the call but keep their place in the queue, the practice will then automatically call you back when you reach the front of the queue. The new booking system has been designed to free up the phone lines so we can deal with urgent queries more promptly. Patients can go online between 7-10am and submit a request for a non-urgent GP appointment, the practice will then respond within 2 working days. If patients do not have online access, a member of the team will happily fill in the form on their behalf before 10am. We much prefer to deal with any issues directly as we always hope to resolve any concerns a patient may have, therefore I would appreciate if you could contact the practice so we can discuss this further with you.     Trying to get an appointment is impossible. I received a message saying to book a routine appointment, click on a link. The link doesn't actually take you to where you need to be to book. Find the right website to book but cant book because all the appointments are full, and its just to go on a list for an appointment not to actually book an appointment anyway. Apparently I could go to the surgery and fill in a form and would then be first on the list for tomorrows allocation of appointments but as thats not physically possible and no one can fill in the form over the phone for me I have to just keep clicking on the link until I manage to time it right and I can request an appointment. For the rest of my life in hope?? And this is after they told me I needed an appointment....

The new booking system has been designed to free up the phone lines so we can deal with urgent queries more promptly. Patients can go online between 7-10am and submit a request for a non-urgent GP appointment, the practice will respond within 2 working days. If a patient does not have online access, a member of the team will happily fill in the form on their behalf over the phone or at the front desk before 10am. We are aware that the system was not allowing requests to be submitted once we had reached capacity, however this has now been amended so there should be no issue submitting the form between 7-10am. We much prefer to deal with any issues directly as we always hope to resolve any concerns a patient may have, therefore I would appreciate if you could contact the practice so we can discuss this further with you.     My recent experience and my husbands at this practice was exceptional. We were both taken ill unfortunately on the same morning, and dealt with immediately, admitted to hospital and now back on track- we cannot thank them enough.

    It has become near impossible to get through to this surgery by phone whenever I try. I realise things are difficult now but the recent changes to the call system seems to have made things much worse. I never seem able to get a response however long I wait in a queue. The number in the queue never changes and eventually I get cut off. Would old fashioned written correspondence work?

There are periods throughout the day when our phone lines tend to be busier, particularly in the mornings, however we do have a number of staff answering the calls each day but unfortunately some issues can take longer to deal with, hence why it can sometimes take a while to get through to us. We do have a queue buster system in place which allows patients to keep their place in the queue but put the phone down, the practice then automatically calls you back when you reach the front of the queue. At Jubilee Medical Practice we strive to offer the best service to our patients every time and we welcome any feedback to help make our practice a better place.     I logged on and requested an appointtment for my daughter26th September, got sent a.txt to say it would be reviewed in 2 days. Today is the 13th october and i still havent heard anything. Getting through on the phone is a joke. This is disgusting considering i am worried about a 12 year olds mental health. Dissapointed is an under statement
