    It has become near impossible to get through to this surgery by phone whenever I try. I realise things are difficult now but the recent changes to the call system seems to have made things much worse. I never seem able to get a response however long I wait in a queue. The number in the queue never changes and eventually I get cut off. Would old fashioned written correspondence work?

    Dear Patient Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on the NHS website. We are sorry to hear you are not having a good experience when trying to get in touch with us. There are periods throughout the day when our phone lines tend to be busier, particularly in the mornings, however we do have a number of staff answering the calls each day but unfortunately some issues can take longer to deal with, hence why it can sometimes take a while to get through to us. We do have a queue buster system in place which allows patients to keep their place in the queue but put the phone down, the practice then automatically calls you back when you reach the front of the queue. At Jubilee Medical Practice we strive to offer the best service to our patients every time and we welcome any feedback to help make our practice a better place.     I logged on and requested an appointtment for my daughter26th September, got sent a.txt to say it would be reviewed in 2 days. Today is the 13th october and i still havent heard anything. Getting through on the phone is a joke. This is disgusting considering i am worried about a 12 year olds mental health. Dissapointed is an under statement

    I provide online test results to the practice to do with my INR results as I self test. The practice continue to change their processes & then restrict my medication to less than a months supply driving up the cost to the patient. There is no way to speak to anyone at doctors as they do not answer phone. I have no loss complete faith & patience with this practice e & will change doctors

We are sorry to hear that you have been struggling to get hold of anybody at the practice to discuss your concern. As discussed recently with you, the prescription amount was reduced due to the practice not receiving an up to date test result. The practice must ensure safe prescribing at all times. I hope you feel this matter has now been resolved.     My husband was expecting a doctors telephone appointment today, they ring the landline that doesn’t even work and no one has rang for years five times and then text your mobile to say they couldn’t get in touch!!! Who in their right mind rings a landline in 2023 unless you need to ring someone who is 90 years old, if you have systems in place to text a mobile to say the doctor attempted to call you, why can’t the doctor just ring you on your mobile in the first place, this doctors surgery is so inefficient, avoid if you can.

The doctor will always try to contact you on the number that has been given at the time of booking the appointment, so I do not know why the landline was called instead. We much prefer to deal with any issues directly as we always hope to resolve any concerns a patient may have, therefore I would appreciate if you could contact the practice so we can deal with this accordingly.     An anxious visit after a recent stroke was made so much easier after valued support from a lady there this morning who helped with a quick and friendly registration and appointment! What an excellent service from this staff member , you need more of her From her initial efficiency with our phone call she instructed us further and even supported us with relevant forms when we arrived ! What a superstar…….. certainly took the pressure of us after a very worrying few days Sincere thanks

    Rang for an emergency medication as I’d forgotten mine and we were away on holiday. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful. I got my medication just hours after our conversation. Thank you I am very grateful.

    I had a telephone consultation today with the nurse practitioner who was more than helpful. She went through a whole series of questions with me before not only advising what she could offer medically at that moment but also created a plan for moving forward. I didnt feel rushed at all and had all my questions answered in a easy to understand way and I felt utterly listened to and well advised. I couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you for your wonderful service!

    I went to have my forth IUD fitted and compared to all my previous experiences over the years at other GPs the team here were amazing. My body wouldn’t relax but the team were so patient and even though it took much longer than anticipated they didn’t give up and were so kind and checked my blood pressure several times ( no other doctor had done that before) gave me water and ensured I was completely ok before they let me leave. Thank you

    Fantastic treatment and advice received for my 17 year old son at his nurse vaccination appointment. Such excellent communication about what they were giving him and why and additional advice given. Leaflets given and follow up texts received with useful links. Thank you. A good experience goes a long way. Reception staff also very helpful in getting him booked in appropriately.
