    I think people would have less to complain about on the NHS if all clinics operated as efficiently as the Lawson Practice.

  2. Review titled Efficiency

    I telephoned at 3.30pm, saw a doctor at 4.30pm, got a referral notification by 6.30pm and an appointment booked in 2 weeks later at the hospital. I do not know if there is anything wrong with me as such but the speed and efficiency of the Lawson Practice is remarkable. Thank you

  3. Review titled No gel in any of the hand sanitisers

    I was told by the staff member on the desk to go up stairs for my appointment so I did, and then someone called a number of names out and asked me who I was. I said my name and they said I was not on the list. I told them I was just sent up and they said no I wasn't - and that I should go down and talk properly and slowly and explain my self better. Also for a doctors surgery to have no sanitizer in any of there bottles is very bad.

    The clinical staff here have always been really great-professional, reassuring, efficient. But the system to book an appointment is honestly dreadful! "Fill out this online form-but only during certain hours of the day" "Actually we can book that over the phone-oh no we can't, its on a different system" I've tried to book 2 routine but time sensitive appointments this week and still don't have either. How are people meant to access basic healthcare with all these hurdles?!

Let me clarify: Our online booking system is designed to offer convenience - (request an appointment, sick note prescriptions, etc) but we understand it has limitations (it is not accessible to everyone). You can certainly call the practice or come in person to book an appointment, and we have experienced staff available to assist you. Our primary goal is to make healthcare easily accessible to all our patients, and we appreciate your feedback in helping us improve our services.

    Everyone that we have spoken to on the phone and seen at the Lawson Practice over the past few months has been wonderful. My elderly mother is struggling with dementia and is scared of going to the doctors. However after two recent visits to the practice she is now a fan ! Everyone that she interacted with has been friendly and helpful, from the reception team, to the doctors and practice nurse. Positive attitude and smiling makes a huge difference for elderly patients and the whole team really made her feel comfortable and happy to visit. A special mention for the lovely nurse who did her blood tests ! From my perspective as her son, being able to also speak to the doctors in detail on the phone about my mother's dementia challenges has been a huge help and relief. Overall I think this is a great team. Keep up the good work.

    I'm in end stage emphysema been given less than a month in the community I have been trying to get a call back from my GP without any joy the receptionist think they are generals, and when my breathing specialist called them he was told supply the meds himself and sit with me till I pass over I'm appalled and livid .

  8. Review titled Lack of facilities for baby

    Took long to check in for appt. Not very empathetic staffs. Baby needed a feed to calm down but the atmosphere in the room wasnt wlecoming. Also even to dress or undress baby no facilities such as bed soace to put baby down. Very inconvenient.

    I feel so bad I don’t remember who I saw but I had a lovely experience. She was kind and calm told me about the smear and told me what 4 different results I could get and what each one meant or what would happen she explained it thoroughly and I popped on the bed. It was over in seconds. I felt as comfortable as I could be in those conditions aha but the nurse was lovely and calm and it was very quick Also a lovely girl on reception booked me in and told me what side to sit. I know sometimes reception staff get a lot of stick but I personally have never had a problem the girls or guys are always looking to help

    Dear sir I try to make an appointment for my wife and that day I had an appointment and I talk with doctor and they said I have to speak with receptionist but I was ignored and the receptionist did not make a appointment for my wife. I don’t know how to use online and try to make an appointment for my wife and been waiting for appointments nearly 3 months. I did not find this receptionist helpful Kind regards
