I had a vaccination at the surgery which was given in an expert fashion and advice given for any side effects.

Took 3 weeks to get a phonecall appointment and then on the phone I felt like the female Dr didn’t really understand why I had gone onto HRT 2 years previously and rather than see someone face to face her answer was for me to come off HRT for 6 weeks and then we will see how you are feeling! Suck up the symptoms that were the reasons I started HRT. The symptoms are back in full force. Insomnia, night sweats, anxiety and the patient just feels like, what’s the point …… impossible to get a face to face appointment so stay home and just sort your own self out!! Also had a chest infection and to get two more days of antibiotics out of the Dr was just pathetic. She did grant the prescription but I felt like I had to beg.

Doctor listened attentively to me outlining main concerns and offering several possible explanations. Knowledgeable about my issues offering practical suggestions and referrals for more informed decisions.

Medicine check following flood test. Doctor was efficient and answered questions. I was offered physio and sent a text message which said it would contain a link - it did not - having to try and contact the surgery is such a long winded painful process it just makes you want to give up. I was also told I could have a bone density check but not heard anything else regarding that.

I always hear people talking about not being able to access their GP service. I've never had a problem. I use e-consult for everything I need either for myself or on behalf of my elderly mother. someone always gets back to me amazingly quickly with an efficient approach to fulfilling my needs in the best way. eg for just admin problems or for things needing a hcp intervention.
