I was seen on time and the doctor was very professional asking me if I needed a chaperone while I was seen too and gave me a form for the blood test and told me how I needed to do it,so I was very very happy with the service. Thank you

Review titled Thorough and professional
Rated 5 stars out of 5

The Dr’s from The Practice that I have seen recently have been excellent listeners and had the knowledge and experience to look for and explore thorough treatments for me. I didn’t really understand the new method of booking a Dr’s appointment until one of the Dr’s explained it to me. Both my recent appointments ran to time and the waiting rooms were calm and quiet. If the new booking system offers this amongst other things, then I am definitely for it. I am very pleased with the service I received. Also the Pre Diabetes Course I have been put on by the Dr is excellent.

Review titled Failed to call me on time
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by James Gurney - Posted on 27 January 2024
The GP from Lodge Surgery was 90 minutes late for a call appointment. When the call came through, I was in a work meeting but left to answer it, but there was no response. Very disappointing.

Review titled Efficient and reliable
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Stuart Cook - Posted on 10 January 2024
I visited Highfield Surgery to obtain a referral for an optical condition which I have been monitoring for some months. The Practitioner saw me at the scheduled time and was attentive to my issues. She summarised my condition, its progress and the proposed plan to resolve it very clearly. I left the surgery confident that I can expect to receive professional treatment for my ailment in the near future.

Review titled Very friendly & professional
Rated 5 stars out of 5

My appointment ran pretty much on time, parking was easy - and the doctor was brilliant. The GP was professional but friendly - and that’s not easy at the end of a long day.

Review titled Not a good service
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Ian Brown - Posted on 30 January 2024
On Friday, 26th January at 1.10pm, I attended Redbourn Health Centre. This appointment was to see a nurse and was at the behest of my doctor's surgery. On booking in, it appeared that appointments were running on time. 35 minutes later, I was still sitting there. Nobody had been near to tell me anything. On checking with the receptionist, she confirmed I was booked in and did not know of any reason for the delay. I went home. There are notices everywhere stating staff must be treated with respect. I always do. But an unaccounted for delay is in itself disrespectful and furthermore it is rude. I am 83 years of age and don't expect to be left for 35 minutes without anyone explaining the delay, particularly when it is not an appointment I have requested.

Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate you taking time to do so. We share this feedback amongst the teams as it is good for training. I am sorry to hear of the long delay with your appointment time, we do have signs in the waiting area to flag a receptionist if you have been waiting longer than 20 minutes. Unfortunately we do have occasions where the appointments over run, but this should be communicated to patients waiting. I will flag this with reception.
