  4. Review titled Lovely experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Chryss - Posted on 07 June 2024

It was convenient as I live nearby. I’ve been seen on time. The doctor was kind, she listened to me with care and was so compassionate. I was given enough information, on what might cause my signs and symptoms and what can I do about it. I am so pleased and thankful.

  5. Review titled Excellent Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Very pleased with examination and the follow up action that was initiated, especially as it covered two issues. Could not have asked for a better GP or outcome, hence the motivation to leave a review!

  7. Review titled Good Practice

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I was ask to get a cream for my arthritis but the doctor told me I had to buy the voteral gel. When I went to the chemist they told me it was £20.00 I can't afford that being only on a pension I was very annoyed so i didn't get it, I am very upset and in pain. Why did I have to pay if I am a pensioner and get free prescriptions. Disgusting.

Seen by the GP yesterday. She was empathetic to my various ailments but discussed one in particular which was higher on the scale. She was knowledgeable and sent me relevant information to help with my main ailment

It’s so refreshing to have a doctor listen to you and act on the information that they have been given. I have been worried for so long with my symptoms and the doctor has me under going, blood,ct and gastroscopes. I really appreciate all the support from the dr Kaur.

  10. Review titled Timings for Appointments by phone

Rated 4 stars out of 5

    by Mr R W Baker - Posted on 10 June 2024

When the phone appointment (Saturday 8th June) was originally booked I was told that I would be contacted between 08:30 and 12:00 and rearranged my plans for that Saturday accordingly. In the week prior to the appointment I received two text messages changing the allotted time to between 08:15 and 10:15 and changed my plans again. By 10:15 on the morning of the appointment I had not received the phone call and the revised plans had to swing into action. I was literally walking out of the house when the phone call came through at 10:17. In fairness the appointment was successful in that it included some very good news - my gripe is not with the doctor. My gripe is with the way the time allotted to the appointment was changed; the new arrangement confirmed; only to discover that we had reverted to the original time slot. Please remember that patients have to rearrange their plans around phone appointments in a way which doesn't apply to face-to-face appointments. I accept that the NHS might be using Saturday appointments to cope with the demand, but please realise that rearranging plans around phone appointments on a Saturday can be traumatic in several family circumstances.
