    What a lovely doctor! I have seen her a few times now and she is absolutely amazing. I feel listened to and that she and the surgery have gone out of her way for me which I really appreciate. Many surgeries/doctors do not do this.

    I was asked to make an appointment for a diabetic review. I telephoned the practice and was No1 in the queue for over 30mins .I then decided to go direct to the surgery (The Lodge at St Albans ). The receptionist was quite glib saying she had only just returned from lunch and there appeared to only be a trainee left in charge. I then asked for a form for a blood test and was told the computer said I was not down for one. I said this was wrong but needless went to my appointment three or four days later. The first thing the nurse said was where are the blood test results. I now have made another appointment to go and have a blood test and following the result have to make an appointment for a telephone consultation with the nurse. I do not like wasting my time.

    The doctor was very thorough and made me feel that I’m getting the help that I need as my illness has been going on for a while now and not knowing what the diagnosis is has been very frustrating and draining so I’m hopeful now

    Nurse explained what she was doing and was very caring throughout. Bloods were taken at the same time to save me going back. Which is also positive to free up an appointment for another person.

    From receptionist to Dr everyone was friendly and helpful. They listened and gave me a lovely patient experience while I was feeling unwell. Dr was reassuring and I like the reminder alert and using the online system was easy and saved me hanging on the phone for a long time

    When I had my appointment I felt that the doctor really was listening to me and understood how I felt. He also provided me with good advice on a recent diagnosis.
