Wonderful service. Having recently been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, the nurse has been fabulous, taking time to explain things clearly and she has been so helpful.

Having seen a GP and being sent for an x ray I was then able to see an excellent physiotherapist at the practice recently and was then offered an injection in my knee joint. I had the injection morning and the Doctor who carried this out was professional friendly and carried out the procedure seamlessly after explaining everything to me. It was neither stressful nor painful so thank you to all concerned

On the few occasions I have actually managed to see a doctor or nurse I have found them to be friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing but praise for them. What a shame the same cannot be said for their reception, booking and telephone systems. The almost impossible task of contacting reception by telephone and obtaining an appointment is well documented elsewhere. That said I recently telephoned the practise to ascertain the results of a blood test and urine test. Initially I was advised by the automatic response machine that I was 4th in the queue and that my call would be answered "shortly". After waiting about 25 minutes I finally reached number 1 in the queue where I remained for another 45 minutes before I gave up! I hesitate to guess how much longer I would have been left waiting had I remained on the phone. With normally 6 receptionists on the desk it is hard to believe that they were all continuously engaged for so long and it would be nice to know what their definition of "shortly`' is. Whist appreciating that this is a very busy practise surely something could be done to make life a bit easier and less stressful for patients to contact the practise etc.

Thank you very much for your feedback, and experience with our service. We are fully aware how difficult getting an appointment, and getting through to the surgery has been over a number of years. We have tried different project to improve this, which works for a period of time, but not long term. We have in recent months successfully changed our procedure for booking appointments, offering more future availability online and at reception. We are also reviewing our telephone system to make it easier to get through to our practice. We are also using E Consult to help with reviews, medical certificates, and asking patients to request prescriptions online. This all impacts on telephones and will help with the availability of appointments. We are working to improve our service, and do hope that this will be evident in the next few months.

I chose to have a vasectomy and from start to finish the doctor and nurse were absolutely fantastic. I was a little nervous, but they explained the procedure in great detail and put me at ease throughout the procedure

Simply great! I got there and was seen immediately. The procedure was done and off I went ! The Doctor that performed the procedure was immensely reassuring.

Really outstanding service from confirmation texts around appointments, friendliest reception staff all the way to the pre surgery brief and the operation itself. Everything was explained and surgery carried out professionally and I swear if I hadn't been ab adult unwound have been given a lolly pop. Truly warm, sincere, caring and friendly practise.

The doctor and nurse made me feel very relaxed from the start. The doctor explained to me in depth every part of the procedure and exactly what to expect. During the operation, the nurse and doctor engaged in easy conversation with me, which distracted me from the operation that I found helped massively. The doctor and nurse where extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable.

Although I had to wait 13 months in total, the doctor was a great professional with good sense of humour creating a comfortable atmosphere for the patient. Overall very happy
