Review titled Great practice and helpful and supportive staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Amal - Posted on 06 November 2024
The staff were so helpful in helping to organise an urgent appointment and being so cheerful helped to considerably help me in my anxious state. The GP was polite and patient in trying to get as much info as needed and to carry out various tests .

My son has been experiencing pain in his tummy for a few weeks. The Doctor was very kind and thorough in her examination and recommendations. The receptionists couldn't of been more helpful either.

Review titled Good check up
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Matt Royle - Posted on 24 October 2024
Felt confident with GPs assessment and diagnostics. Bedside manner was good and didn’t over complicate matters. Efficient time of appointment - though I didn’t feel rushed. Good explanation and friendly manner. Clear understanding of next treatment steps and ongoing treatment required

I've had a wonderful experience with this doctor’s surgery. The doctor has been consistently kind, attentive, and incredibly supportive. The reception staff are always warm, friendly, and helpful, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. I feel genuinely cared for and I couldn't ask for a better level of service. Highly recommended doctors practice.

Review titled Great staff!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Silvia - Posted on 25 October 2024
Always a helpful and supportive, cannot fault them, admin as well as medical staff. Would highly recommend. Reception staff is always helpful with all the admin things patients have to do now, our gp goes over and beyond the call of duty to deal with medical issues and the practice nurse deals with vaccination queries in a very competent way as she did today with me.

Having trouble trying to access my NHS App. I will say, so far, I have found the surgery very helpful, I have no complaints only, trying to access my NHS app login is not at all straightforward so, instead I havevto resort to writing an e-mail again! What is the point of being allowed to have an NHS login if, you can't access it?

The admin and receptionist were very caring and helpful. The GP examined me and listened to me so I felt confident when I left that I had very good attention and this helped my recovery.

Review titled Appalling, standards have slipped
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Judith Diamond - Posted on 18 September 2024
On behalf of my 100 Yr old mother who has been a patient at the practice for decades, I requested an appointment to have ear wax removed. "The GPs don't do that any more" which is already unacceptable. It would take a practice nurse minutes to undertake this procedure. After multiple requests I finally picked up the referral form this morning. The form provides a contact number to discuss the appointment date. The letter states that if we have not heard back by 11 November to contact them. I called but only recorded messages. Tried another number, the call centre "sorry we can't help". I need to take mum to get her ears done by 24 September, but this is proving impossible. I am very glad I no longer live in this overcrowded country with its appalling health system. Its like a 3rd world country. As for the Village Surgery, it has become a business, no longer putting the patient first. GPs working part time and then going to the private sector.
