Staff go above and beyond to help you with chasing referrals and test results. The surgery is easy to get hold of compared to many other local surgeries and the staff take the time to get to know you as a person..not just a number on the appointments list.

I have only just moved to the Practice so this was my first experience communicating with them. I needed a rapid prescription and despite not having any appointments available I was able to complete a form online and within a few hours the doctor had responded and sent the prescription to my local pharmacy. They followed this up with a well-being text (late in the evening) to ask whether I would like them to refer me for a flu vaccination and other relevant checks. Equally, the receptionist who I spoke to was charming and helpful. Thank you very much.

Filled out online form. I was phoned back later the same day and offered an appointment for the next day. Really simple and efficient process. Dr appointment itself was on time and efficient. Very good Dr patient manner. Clear and concise recommendations. Thank you

Staff were amazing at helping me get the equipment and information I needed for managing my disabetes, mobility and severe epilepsy. Always polite, friendly, respectful and approachable.

I’ve been a patient here for 45 years now & although Covid admittedly really messed up appointment times etc, I can honestly say that today I had the fastest, most efficient service from the receptionist & Dr that I can remember. Thank you & keep it up!

I am delighted with the care that I have received from The Village Surgery. It has utterly restored my faith in the NHS. With pleasant receptionists, attentive doctors and a brilliant nurse, I really couldn’t recommend this practice highly enough.

I have found the receptionist, Kit, very helpful on the phone as well as in person at the reception desk. When I was on the phone she made me feel relaxed and appreciated, which I liked, and she was sympathetic when she listened to my problem. While I was in the waiting room, I noticed she displayed a very caring and friendly manner towards other patients.
