Rang on behalf of my daughter for 1 hour yesterday 8 to 9, I was 72 in the queue, when answered I was told no more appointments. So I rang 111 they gave us appt & ended up travelling 45 minutes to a walk in clinic. Got seen by a doctor who said nothing she can do because daughter needs to be referred to the hospital & referral needs to be done at our surgery, so went there waste petrol for nothing. Went to thorndike told no appts & come back 7.45 this morning, we was 6th in the queue, got to reception to be told no more face to face appts left will need to be phone, I explained daughter will need to be seen & reception said doctor will call her in if needed. So got phone call from doctor to be told we need to go in & see her!! Which we knew would happen. So all this faffing about which is totally unnecessary! There needs to be face to face appts again, back to how it was pre covid! Just to add, the receptionist should not sit there chewing chewing gum & the Dr we saw was lovely!

Dear Mrs Johnson, Thank you for taking the time to write this feedback. Constructive feedback is essential to enable lessons to be learnt and improvements to be made. We have various methods of access to appointments including routine appointments which are pre-bookable up to 14 days in advance, same day for acute issues and an e-consultation service. Therefore a patient will always be offered an option to access care. I duly apologise for your poor experience with your daughter on this occasion, but very glad that she received the care she needed. I will investigate the chewing gum issue with the reception staff. Gp phone call this morning at 750 am doctor very nice asked what the problem was listen till I had finished said she needs to see me gave me appointment for 910 am went to see her problem sorted taken test given cream back in two weeks well done everyone

They have a call back telephone system in place which I used. Was called back shortly after and all my details were taking down by a friendly and professional lady. I was then notified by text to receive a call from a dr which I did. The dr was through, listened and explained everything so well for now and any further concerns. Great practice.

Always a good experience. Never had any poor services. Staff are all very attentive and pleasant to deal with. No problems.

Very shocked to be able to get an appointment rang at 8 o'clock and was first in the queue doctor rang back and was very helpful I have previously had bad experiences with this surgery but very happy now

Always have issues getting appointments the system is flawed. However when you do get through the reception staff are very polite and the doctors are empathetic giving good clear and no nonsense advice.
