Review titled Sad to leave
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Katica Makad - Posted on 31 December 2024
Having moved from the area now, all I can say is this is the best practice I have experienced in London. All my care has made sense, and they give me great consultations and with quick access to local services at St. George’s Hospital and Epsom. Appointments have fitted with work and I haven't had to take time off or fight my way through like with previous surgeries. When I hear my other family and friends experiences I know that simple things matter and they deliver. They have helped my partner with kind receptionists that make a proper difference. We are now re-learning (again!) that not all surgeries are the same. We might just move back to Tooting at a later date, simply for this fact! Highly recommended, thanks.

Review titled To the point
by Anonymous - Posted on 30 November 2024
Had called up, and got a same day appointment for my knee. Had injured it a while back. The doctor explained to me all the mechanics and ligaments and told me exactly what they suspected (they were right). They got me an urgent MRI and told me the results over the phone which was great and emailed me my report, and in two weeks time I had been seen at fracture clinic with a plan and another scan. Had impeccable messaging from them to keep me in the loop. The NHS is brilliant when you have a quality bunch of people sorting you out. Didn't expect the speed of it all. I can get on and have a good Xmas now.

Review titled Kind professionals
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Francesco DM - Posted on 17 November 2024
We moved here from another surgery because we simply could not get through to them. It's been really nice. My medicines have been organised and reviewed at last, and I've been able to order this via the app without any more stress. I've sorted out some longstanding niggles that were palmed off by another GP surgery. Having had the support of referrals to places like ENT and orthopaedics has been great. Never had to worry about talking to someone about my problems and the interest afforded by receptionists has been a great relief. My partner has an autoimmune condition and it affects her mental health. We had to transfer care to London and the surgery has supported her beyond any other she has encountered (we have lived in Wales and Scotland also where we could not get any attention for months) with letters and blood tests to monitor things. The surgery texted her as soon as we registered to let her know she had many things outstanding from her last GP. That was both a shock and relief to get sorted. Highly recommended based on our personal experiences. Many thanks.

Review titled Better than most
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I used to be with an app company and then a couple of big surgeries. I could never get into them and they kept telling me to use their website and app. Think we've all had those experiences and people who weren't even doctors and students talking to us that meant zero progress. Since being here I've been able to talk to people and staff and get everything I have needed at the right time and get my health back on track with confidence and proper advice and investigations. I've never waited longer than a week and my telephone consultations help me with work and planning my day which is brilliant. It's a small surgery which I guess is the beauty of it, and they've been nice to help with weekend appointments at nearby Hub clinics at last minute. Things just get done without the faff and I've been kept in the loop which is really welcome. Thanks for putting my faith back into the system.

Review titled Could not put a word in

I called the practice as recommended by a pharmacist and NHS 111 and was almost not allowed to speak. I was just placed on hold and told to go to A&E for a cough. This is not the first time I have called and not been listened to, leading to my issue not being addressed.

Review titled Home visit
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Both the practice nurse and my GP came to my home on a short visit to give me my shingles vaccination and to see what my general state of health is. I have been in the care of my GP for several years and have always found him to be very pleasant in his manner, very informative and skilled in his diagnoses. The practice nurse was equally pleasant and efficient in giving the vaccination.

Review titled Very impressed
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Pat O'Connor - Posted on 17 January 2024
Today's consultation was fantastic. I had had an issue that my private GPs and online apps could not sort out, nor were they really bothered. I had two issues - one with my breathing and other mental health. The style of consultation was so professional and got to the root of my issue and my worry that really left me feeling happy and stronger that I was being looked after. The GP asked me questions about my family, my social life and fears which surprised me but to be honest, were the most important in retrospect. I have tests being organised, a referral already done and I have two working diagnosis that I can at least do some reading around and move on. The GP is superb, I'd say perhaps the best I have encountered. On a side note, I've been here for 4 years and the appointment staff are brilliant and the workings of the place, clear and always helpful and never a struggle. Thanks to the nurse who also saw me.

Review titled Invaluable experience

I've had some important interactions with the surgery over the last 5 weeks. Never struggled and had 4 appointments in that time with some things being done for me almost instantaneously. I do want to say the GP I've been in touch with has been superb in all aspects and one of my appointments lasted I think 40 minutes it being so complex - more than I could ask for feeling supported. Thanks so much and receptionists too.

Review titled Brilliant
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have recently come with a relative. I am not a patient here but a carer. We attended unfortunately with a list of things I wanted to talk about (my own fault, including hospital matters) and did not at all expect the level of time and explanation afforded to us. My relative has always spoken highly of this surgery and their friends, and it was my first visit. The nurse first saw us (who was extremley kind and new so much about my relative which was remarkable and so nice) and then the GP attended - together they involved us is so much with clear explanations, results and print outs and it was like a friendly professional talk, so welcoming and relaxed. We had made them over-run by about 40mins and I apologised to the next person who was fine - but the level of patience with us was lovely to see first hand. P.s. I agree with someone else about the closing of Trinity Medical and recent nhs strikes, the area has been desperate of late since last summer, and values what professionals remains bearing the brunt of it all. Again, thanks for medical attention.

Review titled Best for the community

The best surgery I or my family have known. I think it helps that they answer the phone and really try to sort out the issue you have. They might not have all the answers but at least you feel you're getting somewhere and being helped every time. Most other surgeries make you hold for 40 minutes or fill in a form. Then make you call back another day. Luckily never experienced that before. I've been registered for 6 years now and it’s excellent. I was even in the Wheatsheaf opposite and my table spoke same chords for various things. All I really need is a simple telephone appointment and advice within a week or two and that's never a bother (I see no need for a face to face for most things personally when you're young, unless you're a hypochondriac or the pharmacist told you otherwise). My dad’s a paramedic and you hear about waste all the time. I think we could all show gratitude and take ownership and responsibility for the nhs that probably won't exist much in this form at this going rate. Exceptional experience thanks.
