    I called in to book an NHS Annual Review at Greenmount - the receptionist there was brilliant and found me a cancellation that same afternoon at the Tottington surgery. What a lovely experience from Geraldine the Healthcare Assistant who carried out the review. She was absolutely wonderful, explaining everything as she went along, offering advice on diet etc and actually listening to what I wanted to say. It was so good to have such a positive experience after reading so many negative comments on the local Facebook pages over the past few weeks. Well done Tower and especially well done Geraldine.

    Having been a registrant at Tower Family Practice, and Tottington Surgery prior, I have received nothing but excellent care and treatment throughout. I am always pleasantly surprised by the continued innovation and the broad range of services available within this primary care provider, but moreover the accessibility. A recent example of this was yesterday, I was able to contact the surgery in the morning, speak with a nurse, send a photograph of my tonsils into the surgery and obtain a prescription for antibiotics long before the close of business the same day. This level of responsiveness allowed for timely treatment, supported me not having to attend the surgery and allowed for another patient to have a valuable face to face consultation.

    I had an appointment with a gp at Minden medical Centre on Tuesday 14th January. I have an ongoing eye problem, the gp rang Rochdale Infirmary eye ward and got me an appointment for the following morning. I attended the appointment with my daughter. We saw a doctor, with the help from the gp at Minden and and the doctor from the eye ward, I was given an appointment that afternoon to attend Salford Royal Hospital, neurology department. I am finally moving forward.

    Had a consultation at the Tottington surgery today (07.01.2025) I have to say I have never been made to feel so welcome, so understood, so listened to/validated as I was made to feel today, the visit brought me to tears, in a very good way, as I have previously, at another surgery I may add, been made to feel like a burden/annoyance. The doctor who I saw (who unfortunately the site won’t let me name) was an absolute credit to the surgery I cannot speak highly enough of them.

    Consultation with a Nurse, requiring a GP appointment which was arranged in under 2 weeks. Treatment from the GP, was as always, conducted with concern and reassurance. Results of test received the same day.

    The doctor I consulted has been totally thorough in trying to a diagnosis and treatment for my problems. He never gave up despite many "normal" test results. I felt that I was listened to and that he was determined to help me.

    I want to compliment the practice at Greenmount (not had much recent contact with any other surgery at Tower).My calls were answered promptly and given an urgent appt due to my symptoms and consequently an urgent referral .Both the reception and medical staff were polite informative and reassuring . Excellent service during an anxious time

    Visited Greenmount Surgery in respect of concerns re my knee. The Dr listioned carefully to my concerns and undertook a full examination. Gave two possible causes and recommended an Xray to clarify. Also suggested medicines to help. He was very profesional and caring. I was very happy with the visit.
