Review titled Great Practise - Great Team
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 31 January 2025
I have been helped by a particular member of the reception team a few times over last year and she has always been professional, friendly and exceptionally helpful. Much improved appointment telephone line so I no longer have to wait in the queue and get a call back. Same day appointment with a friendly and helpful Dr. Very impressed to have my concerns dealt with so quickly. Thank you to a great team!

Today we saw a female doctor at our surgery - she was professional, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. She dealt with maters address with sensitivity. She went above expectation with helping to find both short and long term solutions. She is a credit to both the surgery and profession. 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

Review titled Empathetic and thorough

I called the on call duty doctor. I felt very upset and stressed regarding the lack of support from the clinic seeing me for a particular health concern. I must say, the GP i spoke totally put me at easy, listened to me thoroughly. He went through my concerns, assured me that my concerns were valid. He also immediately put a plan in place, communicated same back to me and provided me with the much needed support. I'm very thankful.

Review titled Rude and dismissive administrative staff
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 16 December 2024
What an unpleasant experience it is to call this GP practice, you are being played the most annoying ‘music’ on repeat while waiting for a very long time for the call to be answered. And then some of the call handlers speak in a disrespectful way, which was my experience today! It is often equally unpleasant to try and book an appointment in person, depending on who is on the reception desk as some of the receptionists are dismissive and speak in a condescending way. That was my experience last week when attempting to book that same appointment! There doctors and nurses I have seen are quite nice and I have to say that, as it is important their work to be acknowledged. However the administration staff ruins the whole experience by their off putting behaviour towards patients. I am dreading the process of having to call this GP practice or attempting to book an appointment at reception. Hence I give this GP practice 0 out of 5 starts, total disappointment. Very sad situation for patients and for the good doctors who work there that the ‘middle man’ ruins the patient experience completely.

Review titled Disappointed With Stuff Service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Richard namukisa - Posted on 28 October 2024
I had umbilical hernia operation. Doctors at the queen Elizabeth gave me only one week sick leave off work. Obviously there was no way I’m going to be fit enough to return back to work after one week home cause my job involves heavy lifting. Doctors advised me to ask my GP to write me a letter to give my work place. I have now rang my GP twice requesting a sick note but the receptionist just keeps asking me to call in next day again and again. I’m in pain, leave alone, I’m asking for something very simple. I don’t see why I must have to ring in for the third time. They have no reason to drag my request on when they themselves know I have had an operation. I also find the stuff at the receptionist also rude. Don’t know how to talk to a patient.

Review titled Exemplary consultation
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Geoff - Posted on 31 October 2024
I was concerned that recurring pins and needles in my right hand and arm might indicate heart problems. The doctor efficiently tried to locate the source of my problem by seeing if pressure on a location or movement of limbs affected the symptoms. He ruled out Karpel Tunnel Syndrome and identified a problem in the neck. He sent me an email with some exercises to try for a fortnight and said that, if this hadn’t improved he would refer me for an x-Ray to check out possible arthritis. He reassured me that pins and needles were only indicative of heart problems in the left hand (unless my heart was on my right side). The doctor was efficient, professional, reassuring but above all welcoming and concerned. Like other experiences of this practice it was excellent. I can’t imagine how it could have been improved. The NHS at its best.

Review titled Doctors have no idea what they're doing
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I went to the GP today and the doctor barely understood what I was trying to say to her. She jumped into all the wrong concIusions before even asking basic questions or showing any signs of care. I went in to feel reassured and came out worried sick when I fully know that she had no idea what she was talking about. An absolute disgrace! This might be the 6th negative experience I had with the NHS and the 4th wrong diagnosis!
