My original review was censored, so this is a tamer version (check their Google reviews for more honesty). Basically, the reception staff is overworked and gives snappish or half-hearted responses. So people wait on the helpline only to be told to make a walk-in and, once there, they're told to go back home and call a different number. It's just bad advice and errors. The phone number isn't always running and their replies on NHS app are also not very helpful. In fact, you never get a clear, specific answer to a query. The doctor was great, but getting to them a pain.

Called at 8am for same day appointment for my child. Appointment time given 9:30am. Time seen by doctor 10:45am. With an unwell child I feel like the wait time was inappropriate. I also had other children to collect at 11:30. The most frustrating thing was I paid for parking (1hour) which I then had to risk not being seen to go and add additional time for parking. As you can imagine this is alot for an unwell child who also has anxiety. For children I think you need to review your policy to make sure you are providing person centred care.

Have had really positive experiences with Ferryview. While getting appointments is tricky, as it is with all GPs, staff are helpful and will advise on when / how to get the appointment you need. GPs are excellent and attentive. Mine has helped me navigate various tests and issues in a compassionate and considerate manner.

I was very pleased with my visit to doctors surgery today the doctor was very thorough she made me feel welcome and explained everything as she carried out each task also I didn’t have a very long wait to be seen

Very nice and helpful receptionist and byte nurse was very nice, had blood taken but didn’t feel a thing, very professional.

The doctor was very attentive and helpful. She asked the right questions, listened to my concerns and gave the right prescription. I left her consultation room feeling satisfied.

I have been helped by a particular member of the reception team a few times over last year and she has always been professional, friendly and exceptionally helpful. Much improved appointment telephone line so I no longer have to wait in the queue and get a call back. Same day appointment with a friendly and helpful Dr. Very impressed to have my concerns dealt with so quickly. Thank you to a great team!

Today we saw a female doctor at our surgery - she was professional, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. She dealt with maters address with sensitivity. She went above expectation with helping to find both short and long term solutions. She is a credit to both the surgery and profession. 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

I called the on call duty doctor. I felt very upset and stressed regarding the lack of support from the clinic seeing me for a particular health concern. I must say, the GP i spoke totally put me at easy, listened to me thoroughly. He went through my concerns, assured me that my concerns were valid. He also immediately put a plan in place, communicated same back to me and provided me with the much needed support. I'm very thankful.

What an unpleasant experience it is to call this GP practice, you are being played the most annoying ‘music’ on repeat while waiting for a very long time for the call to be answered. And then some of the call handlers speak in a disrespectful way, which was my experience today! It is often equally unpleasant to try and book an appointment in person, depending on who is on the reception desk as some of the receptionists are dismissive and speak in a condescending way. That was my experience last week when attempting to book that same appointment! There doctors and nurses I have seen are quite nice and I have to say that, as it is important their work to be acknowledged. However the administration staff ruins the whole experience by their off putting behaviour towards patients. I am dreading the process of having to call this GP practice or attempting to book an appointment at reception. Hence I give this GP practice 0 out of 5 starts, total disappointment. Very sad situation for patients and for the good doctors who work there that the ‘middle man’ ruins the patient experience completely.
