I just wanted to talk about my amazing first beautiful experience with one of the Nurses at Victoria medical centre. I have phobia and anxiety going into doctors and she was so kind and understanding of my situation when I explained to her and had turned my anxiety into a heart warming experience, thank you for having such a beautiful kind hearted and professional person working at your centre, she was so amazing that i believe she is worthy of more than just this review. I made three calls to book an appointment for my mother who is suffering and every call they kept me waiting for more than half a minute and in the end they hung up without answering. Really shameful.

Dear Bassam, We are sorry that we could not meet your expectation to speak to someone at the surgery within half a minute. If you contact the surgery and speak to the complaints officer we will try to audit trail your telephone number to see what happened with your call exactly and make sure treatment for your mother is arranged as quickly as possible. We have no way of knowing your contact details from the information we are presented with on this platform.

Was greeted by lovely reception staff and was seen on time by the nurse who was doing a review with me, took her time and wasn't rushed pleseant experience.

I have had only terrible experiences with this medical centre and I do not recommend it to anyone looking for a local GP. I have found both the reception staff and the doctor I saw to be very rude and unhelpful. I came away from my appointment with no plan of action or further treatment or tests. I have since gone private and had the tests done - I have a fractured bone and am getting physio all privately which is not an expense I need. The appointment was 40 minutes late and the when I checked with reception that I was meant to have an appointment, incase I had made a mistake, they were very unhelpful and said that to check if I was on the list for an appointment they would have to log into their computer. When I asked if they please could, it took less than 30 seconds and they were annoyed at having to do so. The lady next to me at reception with a very small child was having equally a tough time. She was being talked down to for absolutely no reason.

I have been coming to this practice for a while and had experiences with many taking my blood but the only one can take my blood without putting 3 needles in my arm is the hca! I feel very comfortable with her! She's very gentle, kind and helpful. I would highly recommend her to anyone who are scared of needles like myself.

Appointment booked for 11.10 at 12.00 as I'm writing I Have still not been seen, not one member of staff made any announcements in the waiting area to patients about any delays, One doctor was only apologising to patients when asked by patients why the wait was so long. No senior manager around to come to the floor to manage patient expectations or ask if we would need to rebook or able to wait or given any idea on how long the waits would be have asked reception at 11.30 how many patients ahead of me have been told 1 patient but still not been seen understandably delays can be unavoidable in healthcare but the lack of communication has failed patients today.

The lack of communication is disappointing but in future please do ask to speak with a supervisor or manager and someone will assist you as quickly as possible

I have to thank you for having such an amazing doctor at your centre, i can thank him a million times for the way he helped me, i have been diagnosed with a lot of different things due to childhood traumas and at some point in the past few months i had nearly collapsed in what was one of my darkest moments in my life, i cant explain enough how bad i felt and how desperate i was for help. I have always had problems talking to doctors and i have absolutely no trust and phobia dealing with doctors due to past very disappointing experiences, however speaking to an amazing doctor in this clinic at that desperate point of my life, he offered me support and help me with empathy and compassion while i was breaking down literally hopeless. For the first time in my life i had a doctor who was actually kind enough to help, who actually cared to help with patience and again compassion and kindness, what a wonderful person/ human being. A great big thank you to the manager who is also worthy of my gratitude for having beautiful kind hearted and professional doctors under his management, a million thanks to you and the amazing Dr p who gave me trust back in doctors and helped me with what i was going through, my mental health/ depression journey is still long but having amazing people show care and compassion when most needed can make a tremendous difference in how a person can move forward with their healing process. And a last big thank you too for all the reception staff who work so hard at always providing me with help and immediate on the day urgent appointments showing care and support every time i call, you guys are amazing, thank you all for your hard work.
