They listened to my issue attentively, addressed it promptly, and ensured everything was resolved smoothly. Their respectful and understanding approach turned a stressful situation into a positive experience. I truly appreciate this

I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent experience I had at your facility. While I understand that healthcare professionals are often busy, I believe that maintaining strict hygienic practices is paramount to patient safety. During my appointment, I observed that a staff member did not change their gloves between collecting samples from different patients, nor did they use an antiseptic swab to clean the area before collecting my sample. This omission could potentially increase the risk of cross-contamination and the transmission of infectious diseases. I kindly request that your staff be reminded of the importance of following proper hygiene protocols, such as changing gloves between patients and using antiseptic swabs to clean the collection site. While I appreciate the hard work of your staff, patient safety should always be the top priority. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Staff were very helpful and understanding. Great patient service, the requests I asked to be made were dealt with accordingly. Well trained and polite and I've moved around a few surgeries and the staff had always put me off. Not this surgery, patients were dealt with no judgement and respect.

I highly recommend this gp as they take care of you and stay in contact until you are fully recovered when I was there I was looked after throughout the whole process and even after I left i was always welcomed for a check up incase of any worries and the service there is really good

This surgery is one of the best I’ve been in! After moving around different surgeries over the years I have finally found the one which is the most helpful. Reception staff are lovely and are willing to go above and beyond to deal with any and all queries. They are all extremely understanding and knowledgeable and are willing to help in any way they can. I’ve not had the best experience with receptionists in my previous surgeries but I can say this is not the case in Victoria Road Surgery. It is clear that they have had a lot of training. Appointments at the surgery can sometimes be difficult to get however receptionists are able to book appointments in others surgeries which is a short walk away from my house. This is helpful as it means I am able to still see a doctor regardless of whether there are appointments available at the surgery. All of the doctors I have met with provide excellent care. They are able to deal with any problems I have with sensitivity. Hence, I am very comfortable with speaking to them about problems I am having regardless of how embarrassing I may find it. They are always willing to go above and beyond to deal with my concerns and are very truthful and transparent when it comes to how long it may take to get an appointment once a referral has been made. The practice manager has been very friendly and helpful every time I have met with her. I had some issues about missing paperwork and wanted to speak to her about why this has happened. The reception team told me to send an email which would then be passed onto the practice manager who would contact me within 48 hours. I was pleasantly surprised to have received a phone call within the first 2 hours of the complaint being put in. Upon her phone call I had explained what the issue was and she stated she would speak to the medical secretary to see what had happened and to get the information needed. The complaint was dealt with in an extremely professional manner and it was clear from my conversation with her that she cares deeply about the wellbeing of all the patients at the surgery. Overall, I would definitely recommend this surgery to everyone as it provides the best care and service possible. Everyone is extremely friendly and supportive. I do not believe there is any other surgery in the area which is better than Victoria Road Surgery.

I am very happy with the level of service I have received from the surgery. They contacted me saying I needed a full blood test as it had been too long since my last one. After arranging the blood test for me the doctor contacted me immediately to ask me to come in so he could investigate something further. Put it this way I'm so glad they did as they caught something early which could have been bad if left untreated. I'm forever grateful.

I hardly ever need to use my surgery. I needed to use it in December to have blood tests done. and I can honestly say I can't fault the service I received at all. I was phoned back two days later, and booked in to see the doctor to discuss my results. Keep up the good work people!!!
