I was told I needed a blood test, even though I recently had a blood test in May 2024. Do I need a blood test every month for some strange reason?

My annual health check and mental health review was strangely, an absolute pleasure to attend. From the reception staff, nurse and mental health practitioner are kind, professional and thorough. I didn’t rushed, I felt listened to and supported. I left feeling like I’d had a thorough MOT and with good advice a renewed focus to take care of my physical health and mental wellbeing.

My appointment experience with the Phlebotomy Nurse was a pleasure. She was extremely helpful when answering questions and explained her role and the appointment process in a professional manner.

This practice is a disgrace. Unable to see or speak to a doctor about a back problem, I was text a link to the NHS physio service. This is of no use to me as I explained to the person I spoke to from Vine. I specifically asking for help as I am going on holiday on Wednesday and was concerned about pain relief during the flight. This practice are very quick to offer services to patients where they receive financial reward from the NHS, but not interested in patients when it comes to normal appointments.

Was seen on time. Doctor was very thorough and explained everything very clearly. Told me how to set up next appointments and made a referral and appointment came through the same day.

My visit yesterday was the first time for a face to face with doctor for very long time, ie 6 years, and I had had a serious op about 4 years ago. This consultation was fantastic, gave me all the time I needed, and answered all my questions.

Went for a blood test. Nurse very pleasant and efficient. Took blood first time and explained what it was for. Whole experience easy.

As much we all moan about the doctors, I have been lucky to have had amazing experiences and follow ups. I had an ECG by a nurse, and she was kicked and made me relaxed and put me at ease
