I had hurt my back and was in a lot of pain. I saw an Advanced Physio. She was very knowledgeable, empathetic and thorough. She gave me a precise diagnosis and exercises. Very grateful to her. Only suggestion is that it would be better if it was possible to get any medication prescribed for you from the chemist then, rather than having to wait for the duty doctor to sign your prescription and then go back later or the next day to pick it up. When you’re in pain, having to go back a second time is especially hard.

Booked an appointment with nurse.Got phone call day before appointment that it is booked with wrong nurse.Had to wait another week for the appointment.On second occasion got phone call the day of appointment the nurse is gone sick.I have to wait another week for appointment and still suffering.

Got into the centre and checked in, shortly after was met by the GP assigned. The experience was positive and clear as to my next steps and progress.

I wanted to take time to leave a review about my recent experience at Watford Health Centre in meeting the Physio Consultant whose name I am not allowed to write here apparently. I cannot express in words how positive my experience was with this highly skilled and professional consultant Physiotherapist with a bedside manner I have not experienced in a long time. I have been a carer for two decades and come across all sorts of doctors and health professionals and having been very disillusioned by the GP practice feeling very let down by many doctors and so this consultant Physion was a breath of fresh air to me. Her assessment of my condition was rapid, impressed me greatly how quickly she was able to rule things out and how empathically she spoke to me with time , care and concern, seeing me as a human being not a number and not clock watching like was my experience with some members of this practice including one of the partners. She was able to take into account my desires as the patient and did not presume to know more than me about my body. She took into account what I wanted to do and then gave me the help I wanted and needed. I was seen very rapidly by her and I also have high praise for the lady on reception, again I am unable to write her name , she knows who she is, who did the triaging of my three requests in an equally empathetic and professional manner. I have been very impressed with these two members of staff after poor experiences with some doctors at the practice who clock watched and had zero empathy. thank you very much to you both , you have restored my faith in this practice somewhat I am very very grateful for your care support and help during a difficult time. May all your kindness return to you. Watford Health centre and its Patients are very lucky to have you both helping patients in such a heart led manner. May you go from strength to strength in your future with deepest Gratitude
