    Had blood taken, had the biggest bruise ever….? Poor when they shout your name with face masks on, impossible to hear some names, and with Radio 2 on, stick to the screen as using both is confusing !

    Dear Mr Cooper Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I'm sorry your blood test caused to to be bruised. We have lots of experienced blood-takers and also employ a specialist 'phlebotomist' to take blood. They are gentle souls and don't normally cause any bruising. For calling in patients the choice of using screens versus calling out patient names is something we have thought long and hard about. We would try to use both as sometimes patients may have either hearing or visual difficulties and we need to make the process as easy as possible for them. I appreciate your comment about masks and hopefully if the rate of new infections starts to drop again we all be able to dispense with these - we agree that they make communication difficult. It is currently an NHS mandate that staff need to wear masks - for the protection of patients - but we will stop when we are able to. Weavers Medical

    I attended the drive through clinic this Saturday morning for my flu jab and covid booster. Extremely organised didn’t have to wait at all. There was a doctor checking that I was able to have them. Then I drove through to the nurses from the practice who were very friendly and calming. Both injections done and out within less than 5 minutes. Really appreciate the staff working extra at the weekend to provide the service - excellent.

    Dear Claire Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. We are glad that you found the 'Drive Thru' vaccination experience to be a good one. We have refined this over the course of the pandemic to date and find it is efficient and keeps people safe at the same time. Offering the vaccinations on a weekend also gives patients who work in the week more options to attend so we certainly find them very effective. Weavers Medical

    My compliments to the Practice on the preparation and execution of the vaccination programme this autumn. Weavers is not without its faults, but in these times of exceptional pressure, GP practices are too often negatively reviewed. Weavers overall provides a committed, helpful and comprehensive service, and I ask for no more. I say well done to all of the team

As you say, having to provide a vaccination service for the local area does put extra strain on as already busy system.     Very good Dr came and met me in the waiting area asked all the questions very welcoming manor Very Efficient checked BP went though all my doubts Examined my ears Sorted me Brilliant Then asked me if I had any other questions. In my opinion he gave me 100 percent attention and Treatment I left the Surgery very happy and as a Bonus the Doctor sent a line to the Chemist and I picked up the Prescription he instructed me to take and use What More Could Any One Ask For Brilliant. You could Say a Big Thank You to Him Please. Ken.

    Doctor got to root of my problem Gave sound advice on coping with my condition Removed a tablet from my repeat prescription that could be source of one of my issues
