The receptionist was very very polite she was tryin her level best to accommodate my request but I understand it was pretty late. I was asked to do online consultation which i did the next day morning. This receptionist was so sweet who called to check no me never ever in last 14 years this had ever happened she went ahead to book a f2f appointment for me. She went out of her way. This new staff is amazing. Older ones are still rubbish though kudos gal u changed my opinion about Wembley Park drive. Review titled Not good.

My partner and I initially registered with this practice because it was conveniently located near our flat. Unfortunately, we faced significant delays during the first two months in receiving my partner’s medication. Despite her having nocturnal epilepsy for over 10 years, the practice insisted on conducting consultations and blood tests to determine her eligibility for the medication, which seemed unnecessary given her medical history. Things took a turn for the worse when my partner had a seizure, and we urgently needed a referral to a neurologist. The hospital notified the practice, but we received no response. When I called to follow up, explaining that my partner had just had a seizure and needed an urgent appointment, the receptionist's response was to call back at 8 am the next day. This was at around 10:30 am, which doesn’t seem unreasonable for an urgent matter. The lack of urgency and compassion in this situation was deeply frustrating, especially given the practice’s claim to handle such cases with empathy. It was difficult to understand why we weren’t given more immediate assistance when it was a clear emergency. I hope the practice can improve its communication and response times, particularly for those with serious medical needs.

Review titled Helpful practice

Thank you for getting back to me following my blood tests done at the surgery two weeks ago. The doctor explained all the tests separately in very simple language and asked me many questions about my health. I also expressed a couple of other medical concerns and she was extremely helpful regarding this. Appreciated simple suggestions such as drinking more water and to submit my blood pressure readings more regularly. Felt I was really well looked after. Thank you.

Review titled Kind & helpful reception staff

by Andrew - Posted on 14 June 2024
I attended the surgery on the afternoon of Friday 14th of June as my glucometer had broken. I had no way of testing my blood sugars and was due to start a night shift that evening. I was very worried that I would not be able to find a replacement quickly. On arriving at the surgery, the male receptionist was kind, reassuring and able to provide me with a replacement. I was incredibly reassured and grateful for your kindness and help. Thank you!

Review titled Incompetence in managing client documentation
by Anonymous - Posted on 14 July 2024
On 17 May 2024, I attended Wembley Park Medical Center and left the Condition Information Request form at the reception for my GP to fill in its second part. Since the insurance company, I have the health insurance with asked both my GP and me to fill in this form to be able to assess whether my knee injury is pre-existing. At the reception, I was told that I will be contacted to collect the above form within the next 7 working days. Since no one from the medical centre has contacted me within the above timeframe, on 27 June 2024 I called the Wembley Park Medical Center, where I was informed that I can collect the form the next day. Thus, in the early morning of Friday 28 June 2024, I attended the GP personally but was told that they could not find my form, and it would not be, in any case, completed that day as the GP was out again. Nonetheless, they assured me that they will call me next Monday 1 July to confirm that I can collect the form. Since on Monday 1 July, I did not receive a call from them, on Tuesday 2 July I called the GP, and was once again told that I could collect my form the next day, i.e. Wednesday 3 July. I confirmed that my wife will be collecting it. On Wednesday 3 July, when my wife came to collect it she was informed that it was not ready and that she needed to return later. When she was finally able to collect it, she was told that we could not have the original form as it had been lost. Moreover, I realised that the name of the GP that they wrote on the first page of the form was different to the signed GP. Subsequently, I sent them an email informing them that I need the original form, so if they do not provide it to me within the following 5 days I will escalate the matter further. On the same day, I received a call from the GP informing me that they found my original form. The Incompetence in managing my above form not only affected the loss of a lot of time for me but also the management of my knee injury.

Review titled Impossible to get a appointment
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 13 December 2023
It took 30 minutes for this gp to answer a telephone call, when I was the third person waiting in the queue. Why does it take 30mins for a receptionist to get through three people. After 30min and still waiting, I am still the third person??? For this reason I had avoided seeing a doctor and start to administer my own remedies until I couldn’t bare it anymore and desperately needed to see a doctor which was impossible. What are you suppose to do? I am still waiting for the receptionist to answer the phone- I am the 2nd person now- 40 mins

Dear Patient I hope this message finds you well. I want to express my sincere apologies for the extended wait time you experienced during your recent attempt to contact our clinic. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and I understand how frustrating and inconvenient such delays can be. I share your concern and have investigated the matter to understand the cause of the prolonged wait time. It appears that we experienced an unusually high call volume during that period, leading to significant delays in answering calls promptly. I want to assure you that this is not reflective of our usual service standards, and we are taking immediate steps to address the issue and prevent its recurrence. I completely understand the impact this situation has had on your ability to access medical care promptly, and I sincerely apologise for any distress it may have caused. We are implementing measures to improve our phone system efficiency, including additional staffing during peak hours, to ensure that all calls are answered promptly and our patients receive the attention they deserve Once again, I apologise for any inconvenience you've faced, and I want to assure you that we are dedicated to making the necessary improvements to prevent similar occurrences in the future. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, and I appreciate your understanding. Many Thanks Arti Patel - Practice Manager

Review titled Impossible to get an appointment
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 22 November 2023
I am extremely concerned that any time I need an appointment, either for myself or for my child, it is simply impossible to get one. I have raised this matter so many times and each time I do, they seem to be willing to resolve the punctual problem, however, in the long term, there is no change. For us, teachers, nurses, police officers, etc that work long hours a day, there is no regard to the impossibility of having to spend two hours on the phone to get an appointment and never able to get one.

Review titled Disappointing Practice
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I did an online consultation 2 days ago. No GP nor medical practitioner contacted me with a response. Yet I received an automated email which incorrectly stated: “I can see you have already spoken to the doctor regarding this - i am therefore completing the request”. I am not impressed as I had already waited for 48 hours for a GP to contact me regarding the eConsult and none has done so.
