Like many doctors surgeries it is challenging getting an appointment but I have to say that despite this structural problem the receptionist I spoke to on 17/10/23 was incredibly helpful during a very stressful situation for me and I'm very grateful.

Demand for appointments is particularly high and managing the demand can certainly bring challenges. We appreciate the frustration securing an appointment can be but will always try to give the best possible service to our patients at all times. Thank you for giving your feedback

Generally I am very exasperated by the service you offer my family. I find the reception staff very officious. I find the booking system antiquated. However, I made an appointment today for my daughter. She was greeted by a very kind and patient doctor who went out of her way to discuss my daughters symptoms with her. Bea is 8. Taking the time to cover all bases my daughter left reassured. I do hope you can pass on my thanks to the doctor.

After so much negativity about west Malling Group Practice I just wanted to feedback about my experience today. I attended the surgery to make an appointment and made one for the same day no problem at all. Pleasant helpful reception staff. I saw the Dr who was so helpful attentive and listened to my concerns. Giving a diagnosis and treatment plan and gave me plenty of time . Thank you so much

I had an unusual repeat prescription request which was dealt with in a very helpful manner. I then enquired about another matter and was able to see the nurse shortly afterwards. The nurse was also friendly and efficient and skillful.

Both today and yesterday I called the surgery to try and make an appointment with a GP. I need a referral letter so that I can have an private X-ray on one knee. The Receptionist I spoke to had to double check with colleagues as she was new to the job, but she went out of her way to sort my neds out. I was very impressed with her customer service...well done!

A very caring doctor has seen me a few times over the last 2 months and has helped me on the road to feeling a lot better. Thank you so much for your immediate understanding of my complex situation that you helped me with. Don't know what I would have done without you. Thanks!

I phoned this morning to try to get an appt for my husband. Wasn’t very hopeful of even getting through on the phone let alone getting an appt. How pleasantly surprised I was. I phoned on the dot of 8.15 and requested a call back which I got and hubby was given an appt at 9am! I must admit luckily I don’t really have cause to use the surgery very often but when I do, I have always been satisfied with the service received. People are always quick to complain so I wanted to give them praise where it’s due

Came up this morning with mum bit of a mix up but the young lady at reception was superb understanding and so helpful and the young lady we saw absolute star . Just wanted to say thank you again we are all to quick to moan in this day and age but you all do a fantastic job superb.

I would like to thank West Malling Group Practice and the National Health Service for the service I recently received. I saw a GP on 3 February about some suspect patches on my skin which he assured me were nothing to worry about. 16 years ago I was given the same diagnosis to a changing mole which turned out to be malignant melanoma which spread to my lymph gland so I was still concerned so he said he'd refer me to a consultant. On Monday I received a dermatology appointment at Borough Green which I was unable to keep as I would be on holiday. I phoned to rearrange and was lucky to get an appointment the following day due to a cancellation. The consultant confirmed the original diagnosis so I'm totally reassured that I have nothing to worry about. Both the GP and consultant realised that I needed reassurance and I'm so grateful for their patience with me. Less than 3 working days to achieve this with the current problems within the Health Service is very gratifying. Can I also recommend that patients make use of the blood pressure monitor in the waiting room at Kings Hill. I did and was surprised to find that my reading was high but am being monitored now, again very speedy response.

I am a senior citizen and have had such great service from West Malling Group Practice that I feel I must give praise where praise is due. Since my accident last June I have been a "frequent flyer" and have received excellent care. All the receptionists are friendly and polite and helpful, even when they have to say sorry but........ The doctors and nurses are good listeners and very kind and reassuring. Obviously the back room staff must be very hard working too. I have had every test available and referrals to hospital departments where appropriate. I have family, friends and neighbours who are jealous of me! I know that not everyone is able to secure an appointment/triage call by queuing at 8 am or hanging on the phone for half an hour but at least this has always guaranteed me some help on the day and not all surgeries offer this. There is a lot of negative press about NHS surgeries so I think you should all be pleased with yourselves and carry on the good work. Thank you.
