  1. Review titled Diabolical Booking process

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 June 2024

The new booking process is absolutely diabolical and not very inclusive - they are assuming everyone has the internet or a smartphone - my 80 year old parents do not and this has caused them tremendous upset....especially when you get someone who answers the phone who cannot seem to think outside of the process and offers no flexibility. I also had an issue in February when a receptionist decided my concern wasn't urgent - had to call 111, who in turn got me a same day appointment with my doctor (when I was told I couldn't have one) and it turned out to be urgent where my tendons could have ruptured without immediate action..... what is going on, used to love this practice.. :(

  3. Review titled Useless

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Nim - Posted on 09 May 2024

We moved to this go after a terrible experience at another. They were great until they made a change to their services with booking appointments and registering new patience. We took our newborn to get registered 2 weeks ago and they have lost the forms! No recollection of us being there either. I also asked at the time of registering to book babies 6-8 week check up which was confirmed that they would do and advise the date in text. I called on the 6 week date and again nothing down they can’t do an appointment until 11 weeks!!!! And if I wanted to have one sooner to book via the website and when I went to book on the website I can’t as it’s reached capacity!! What a useless system and staff on the phone did not care either!! With a newborn and going through postpartum what a terrible level of care.

  4. Review titled Awful New Prescription 'Service'

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Emma - Posted on 05 April 2024

Have been off my medication for 4 days now thanks to their new prescription service. Went to order my prescription before the bank holiday but couldn't as i needed a review. I had enough to get me through the bank holiday but then I was unable to get through to reception the next day as there was no call queue and after ringing 36 times i gave up. I finally got through the next day and was given a medication review for over a month away, but was already out of meds by then and needed them immediately. The person on the phone was awful and just kept telling me I could get them and to just request them on the new website. The same website that says it can take up to 5 working days to approve your medication request...even though I said I was out and needed them now. She kept insisting I use the new website and eventually I agreed and hung up and had a good cry because of how awful the interaction was. I'm now suffering the not so nice withdrawal symptoms of being off my meds for 4 days and still haven't heard anything about being able to get my prescription. If I ran out before because of needing a review, I was able to call the prescription line and was able to pick up my meds within a few hours. This new system is dreadful and could be very harmful for people on meds that keep them alive!

  5. Review titled Great service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Samantha Horwood - Posted on 18 March 2024

My partner phoned the practice at 17:55pm following myself being discharged from hospital without the prescription I needed. T**s the receptionist got the duty doctor to contact us straight away to get the prescription organised that day. T**s was very empathetic and extremely understanding of my situation and I couldn't thank her more.

  6. Review titled Considering older patients

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Paul harte - Posted on 18 March 2024

I used to be able to order my repeat prescription easily on line now a new system is in place it’s asking for a password which I don’t have , and now I’ll have another user name and password to remember I’m not 22 and don’t have my phone attached to my ear all day . These ideas should consider older patients so now I’m waiting for the practice to return my request for a password before I can order my repeat prescription progression I think the tail as wagging the dog

  8. Review titled Excellent receptionist

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 December 2023

Your regular receptionist (on the front desk most days) is brilliant. She is cheerful, competent and efficient and always goes the extra mile if she possibly can. She is even learning some sign language to better communicate with people with a hearing impairment including my deaf son. Thank you and well done!
