  2. Review titled Amazing practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

What can I say. Bought my wife to the centre after she had a fall and realised she had substained an injury to her arm. After triage and an x-ray, it was confirmed she had broken it. The service and care she received was exceptional, and a credit to the NHS. Thank you all, so much.

  3. Review titled Terrific service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended the centre following a fall and resultant shoulder injury. I was seen, x-rayed, diagnosed and on my way home in just over an hour. Everybody I saw was very professional yet friendly in their treatment of me. The NHS comes under so mush criticism nowadays it is a pleasure to report that centres such as this provide a first class service. Thank you.

  4. Review titled Efficient practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My first attendance was for a urinary tract infection and I was treated with great kindness and compassion. All the staff were very efficient and helpful. One member of staff helped me to register my medical problem on the screen and I waited about 45 minutes to be seen by a nurse. I was prescribed anti biotics and given a choice about where I could access the medication. The receptionist booked a taxi for me. I have attended several times about other problems and each time, I was seen within 45 minutes. I would recommend this minor injuries unit. There is also a small cafe run by volunteers.

  5. Review titled Amazing service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sarah Harrison - Posted on 02 November 2022

Visited estuary view after 111 directed me to attend with daughter who was suffering with extreme abdominal pain. The moment I walked through the doors I was presented with a welcome and a friendly face, then to see the triage nurse who was lovely and friendly and supportive to then see the GP who was outstanding, she had amazing bedside manners, fantastic with my daughter and myself. She was thorough, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Best doctor i have ever seen. Prescription wrote out and directed to a pharmacy that was open until 10pm. Highly recommend. Overall an amazing service from start to finish :)

  6. Review titled Outstanding Patent Care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Eleanor Rosemary Kirby - Posted on 27 October 2022

I visited Estuary View on the 12th October following a severe reaction to an insect bite. I was seen and triaged very quickly by an outstanding Nurse and within a few minutes an equally outstanding Doctor came to the treatment room. Understandably I was extremely anxious about the bite as it was tracking very quickly up my left arm. Both the Doctor and Nurse were very professional and reassuring and explained everything about my treatment and what to expect over the next day in great detail and what I should do if my situation worsened. I also received a follow up call from another Nurse and the Doctor who had treated me. I have fully recovered now and am very grateful for their quick diagnosis it could have been much worse. They are a credit to the Practise and I would highly recommend Estuary View.

Called in and had brilliant service from two ladies- reception were efficient and the staff that saw my little boy were great with him. They calmed him down, saw him quickly and even gave him a teddy to take him. Really pleased with the experience and would return if needed medical advice again

  8. Review titled Quick, clean and friendly

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 23 September 2022

I’ve spent so much time in A&E with my husband. This was such a refreshing experience. Lots of parking, clean waiting room, friendly reception staff. The doctors were patient with my husband (who has a brain injury and can be difficult). We were in and out in no time. It was just how health care should be. Thank you.

  9. Review titled Phone contact

Rated 3 stars out of 5

    by Keith H - Posted on 23 September 2022

Whilst I appreciate the NHS is in crisis I do consider 30mins and not progressing past 3rd in queue to speak to a person excessive, given that I started as 1st in queue only to be dropped back.

Dear Keith Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear you have experienced difficulties. Patients should never drop back in their queue position but we were made aware of an issue last week that was causing this to happen. We have been advised by our telephone provider that this has now been fixed and I'm sorry that you were affected by this. We are aware that our queue times can be long and are constantly looking at ways to try and improve this. Due to the booking of Covid vaccinations and flu vaccinations we are currently experiencing a very high number of calls. We have tried to mitigate this somewhat by having teams of staff calling patients to book their appointments rather than asking them to ring in. We encourage the use of email where appropriate and have implemented on-line consultations in order to try and reduce the number of calls we receive. We have also significantly increased the number of staff answering calls during our busiest periods. We are currently undertaking a trial with a call back system within one of our departments in the hope that this is successful and can be rolled out across the practice. I'm sorry once again that you have experienced difficulties and hope you feel reassured that we are taking steps to try and improve our queue times. Kind regards Joanne Jack Patient Safety and Quality Manager

  10. Review titled Wonderful Estuary View!!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Maureen Askew - Posted on 14 November 2022

My husband called for an appointment at 8am. By 08.10 he had a telephone appointment booked. By 9am Dr had called and asked to see him at 12.30pm. He was then sent to Estuary View for blood test and is having a scan in the morning! How about that for amazing service and all done with genuine care and consideration. Thank you Whitstable Health Service!
