Review titled Positive experience with nurse practitioner
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 27 March 2025
Despite being disheartened at being 29th in the queue at 8am, by 8.35 the helpful receptionist had got me an appt that afternoon in Longton. The surgery there is clean and tidy and the receptionist was lovely. The male nurse practitioner was extremely thorough and actually read my medical history which was novel! On time, and very well taken care of on this visit. Isn't always the case with the GPs

Very attentive! Ensured I was happy and comfortable with the care I received! The lady who saw me made my visit much better than I expected.

My son was having an injection as the nurse was very friendly and chatty, she joked with him and put him at ease and it was really nice to see.

Review titled Staff attitude

I had two appointments within a few days, one lady i spoke with was incredibly approachable and made me very at ease with my appointment. Couldnt fault her. Second lady i spoke to was quite the opposite. Very dismissive, was not very understanding of my concerns and made me feel like not wanting to attend anymore appointments with her as i came out feeling far worse than i went in.

I have just registered at this practice, and this was my first appointment. They were able to give me prescription straight away, for the meds I'm on.

Review titled Horrible wait
Rated 1 star out of 5

Waited over 30 for a appointment and no apology from the nurse . And when I did see her she was rude and not very understanding. All she did was blame my weight even though I was struggling to breathe. All she said was lose weight . Yes I know I'm overweight but she had the compassion of a chocolate tea pot on a cold day.

Follow up appointment to review medication. Dr discussed and explained what changes were needed and why. Checked to see if everything ok with other medication and advised next steps.
