  3. Review titled Good practice

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I attended Greendock street to see the nurse. She was really nice, thorough and very helpful and made me appointment for when I finished antibiotics, I then tried to make an appointment for getting bloods done, i did get an appointment but the earliest was 2nd September what a nightmare. But at least I got an appointment. I feel for these people who need bloods done on a regular basis

  4. Review titled Failed to action tasks; inefficient & wasted appts

Rated 3 stars out of 5

In short, the practice failed to action a prescription from a hospital ENT consultant for over two months claiming that it was an IT issue - had I not have chased this for my son we would still be waiting. The practice then insisted that we book a valuable face to face appointment with a GP to review my sons needs (I had informed them that his circumstances haven’t changed). We therefore had to take the appointment to move this forward, and were offered a timed face to face appointment for the following morning. We attended the appointment and were left waiting in the surgery for 1 hr 20min beyond our appointment time with little information given as to how far “the practice was running behind”. We finally got to see the doctor who reviewed the consultants request and was happy to issue the prescription without the need to carry out observations or tests on my son, so I asked why the need for a face to face appointment? The GP response was that this could have been reviewed over the phone but in short there was no reason why this prescription wasn’t just issued at the point that I was chased by me. Just a waste of everyone’s time and resources!!

  9. Review titled Excellent Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Went to see nurse with a few problems who then sent me straight up the hospital after doing routine checks, thankfully she literally saved my life, taken onto a ward where I find out that a kidney stone had lodged itself inside my right kidney and had killed the kidney, consultant said its a good job I'd come up when I did because it was very infected I'm now wearing a nephrostomy bag to drain the pus until my operation to remove the kidney, so a massive thank you for what she did
