    Hello! I wanted to say my experience is good and also bad which I mean it’s difficult because I am deaf. I have no problem ringing up because I use Relay Uk which means I phone the number and it get connected so I have interpreter speaking for me when I type. Not another way round - I get told you will ring me back but I get anxious because I cannot understand on the phone without an interpreter which bring lots of barriers. I do really wish if you could be more aware that I am deaf if you see my name on your system and also my partner too. And to have an emergency interpreter that would be great, to make us feel more comfortable and more accessible because at the moment is extremely difficult. This will help to communicate a lot better because at the moment is so hard. Please try be more aware when you see a deaf patient. Thank you

    I’ve been unwell over the last few weeks and can honestly say I have had no problem getting through to the surgery, receiving a callback and if necessary getting an appointment. I would just like to say a big thank you to both of the Drs who have been wonderful over the last couple of days. And I have had no problems with the receptionists who always go above and beyond. Many thanks from a Grateful patient.

    Every time I ring for a oppintment at 10.30 I’m on hold for at least 15 minutes and when i finally get through all the oppintments have gone and told to call back the next day at 10.30 but the same happends again!

    I have been trying for a week to make an appointment. Each morning I phone at 10.30, find myself in a long queue. On the occasions I get through there are no more appointments. I’m told to try the next day. There are no appointments available online when I’ve looked. I went to the surgery as suggested on the website only to be told I have to attend at 10.30am. This is not made clear on the website. I feel anxious, let down and deeply disappointed. This feels a very unfair and inaccessible system. How many appointments are actually available each day?

    First time call for stomach ach, it was screened as non emergency and appointment made the next week. However it got worse and appointment made the same day when I called. Follow up appointment also made 2 weeks later. Every one is saying appointment is difficult to get. So far with 2 surgery, their screening are sensible and staff, both receptionists and doctors and nurses are care for their patients.

    Both Wednesday and Thursday I rang the surgery up to make GP appointment. First day I was in the queue for 15 minutes without moving down a position. It took 45 minutes to finally to get through and then was cut off. Second day 35 minutes to get through and was told no appointments left try tomorrow and call abruptly ended. I think perhaps this surgery needs to retrain the staff in how to speak to us the patients. Also consider if they need more staff to actually answer the phones. My only option now is to take time away from work to go down to the surgery to try and make an appointment that way. How any immobile people manage to gain an appointment is beyond me.

    I had a text to say I could drop into the surgery Saturday to have my flu shot. From seeing the First Lady on entering to leaving via the side door was around two minutes. Very efficiently run,well done!

    This is the first time I have used the GP since registering and I am so thrilled with the service provided. I found it easy to get an appointment. I saw Michelle who was really friendly and treated me with empathy. One of the medications I needed required a prescription by a doctor. This was escalated and kindly dealt with by Dr Fairhurst who called me ( after 6:30pm) to discuss the medication and sent the prescription immediately. She went above and beyond, at very short notice ( which was entirely my own fault as I had left it very late to request the medication!). She was really thorough and reviewed my medical history and discussed the medication options with me. Throughout this whole process the reception team were great! They are extremely friendly, easy to talk to, and ensured that my request was escalated. Thank you all at Wollaton park medical practice.

    I have only been with practice for 6 months but am thrilled how efficient it is. l saw a GP a few days ago after he picked up on something after a physio appt and i got a call to say i needed to make an appointment. I love the way the system is run for example ring between certain times for on the day appointments etc. I had one blip with an appointment but after speaking with the assistant practice manager it was sorted straight away. The nurses/blood ladies etc are excellent too. After being with my previous Gp surgery for 12 years i was worried about joining a new one but i did not have to worry at all ! Many Thanks.
