Starting the new year with blood tests medication review and vaccinations and the reception of people have done a great job of sorting out appointments and keeping me on track with my medication. Blood tests and results all sorted with efficiency and clarity as well Thanks

  2. Review titled Seen, heard & respected

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Katie Thomas - Posted on 10 January 2025

From the moment I contacted my new GP practice, I felt a good sense of reassurance from all of the reception team, GP's and specialists. I was so relieved to find that I was being not only listened to, I felt seen again and heard by everyone I have communicated with in the practice. My health has been complicated and at times I have felt unheard and lost over the last few years, but after discussion, problem solving, having being asked the right questions has given me a sense of empowerment again. I feel so respected again and this has all happened in only three months of me joining the surgery. All of the team have been nothing but helpful, cheerful, compassionate and kind to myself and to my family. We all feel so pleased that we joined the practice and because of this, I'm feeling so much more reassured that I have a fabulous GP that really cares and wants to help. Thank you, thank you thank you to all of the team and practitioners 🙏✨

  3. Review titled Inconvenient

Rated 2 stars out of 5

All patients are forced to ring at 8.30am and must have a same day appointment. Ok if you are ill on that day but say, you wished to rebook a general check up with your gp? No chance. I work shifts in the nhs and have to wait for my day off to ring on the day for an appointment, of course when I ring at 8 30 I'm 12th in the queue so I have to register my spot and await a call back. Might get the call back to say appointments are "full, try again tomorrow", well im due back at work tomorrow. Very frustrating. And let's say I'm having really bad migraines - do I want to be hanging on waiting for a call back when all I really want is to lay in a dark, quiet room, undisturbed? Anyway, today i got a telephone appointment only to be told that the pain relief i received from A&E doctor (3 days supply had run out) would not be prescribed for me because they don't prescribe that medication. What???? And we wonder why everyone goes to A&E - it's because we have to jump through hoops and beg our own GP in the community.

  8. Review titled So far so good

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I have just changed from The Grange Group Practice. I had an appointment today, first time I’ve been weighed and had my blood pressure taken at the doctors in years! 100% better than The Grange.
