  1. Review titled extremely poor practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Puneet - Posted on 09 March 2025

i have been with this gp since 2017 and have hardly needed them for 6-7 times in last 9 years. However i have developed gouts issue few years back. In last week (3 march 2025) have been chasing them to get gp see me or prescribe stronger pain killer medicine as was done last time. first they will force me to fill online on monday 3 march and then messaged me back that someone will call on 13march? i have gouts attack today! foot is swollen and am in extreme pain. how will i hold till 13th march? i called again on 6 march and lady said someone will call. no call came. again called on 7 march and they repeated someone will call on 13 march? this is insane and asking me to go to accident and emergency? i don't have an accident or anything where i go to hospital and block some emergency. all i need is to give the medicine i have been given earlier to ease swelling and relief from pain. but they won't. my experience is to avoid this gp if you ever want treatment when you need. they don't care about patients and are just bothered enrolment number of new patients. why you need more when you are not seeing the existing patients? we pay taxes and gp should at least speak if he's is too busy to see us. what is gp for if they don't have time for patients? according to me this should be and is their first duty. anyways, my advise to new patients - think before joining this gp. they won't be with you when you need. if i can, i would rate them in negative. i am still in extreme pain since 8 days now and unable to get medicine because gp don't have time.

  2. Review titled Hearing loss of 4 year old

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Monika Sarandeva - Posted on 08 March 2025

To the lady who made the examination of my son on 25 of Feb at 11:45. As I was refused a referral for ENT and have been seen month after I alerted for the issue with you. The result from a private ENT specialist is the following. My son has such an infection gone with liquid behind the eardrum, going into his nose and throat. Whatever she said is "just an ear wax can't see the eardrum" appeared" to be a discharge from the disastrous infection. By the words from the ENT my son was on about to need ear surgery if we waited even a week longer. Blood pressure under the normal condition due to the infection. Prescribed aggressive treatment and follow up in 4 weeks. My question is " Did my 4 year old son had to go deaf because of you?" Even if you do not know anything about ears, did you not see the discharge going through his whole throat? Can you make the difference between ear wax and discharge? Believe me I do not mean to be rude and I do have huge respect for the proffesion, but this is just outrages. I do not think that my son should have become an invalid because of the lack of knowledge and that's not the worst when I do not have knowledge I would at least refer to someone who has it. And that was denied even after I specifically asked!

I have looked at your review on NHS Choices. I am sorry that you have felt the need to write this. Access in all general practice is under immense pressure for GP appointments and nurse appointments. The practice runs a triage system. A clinician screens all requests from patients. The clinician decides the tine scale for a slot taken by the information the patient has given us. Routine can be three weeks from the date; the request has been given to the practice. Nurse’s appointments are not triaged but routine nurses appointments can be up to a month. If a patient has, symptoms that cannot wait until the appointment that they have booked reception will always take a message and ask a nurse to call you for advice. I am sorry that as a new patient you are disappointed in our appointment availability. I would happily meet with you to discuss this or you can email directly at jo.nightingale@nhs.net. 4. Review titled Wasting appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been withthis practice for many years and since the pandemic struggled to get a doctors appointment, but not usually with a nurse. I have taken an appointment that could have been used for someone who needs a face to face appointment to ask how were my results and do I need to continue as I am or does the new mediacation need to be adjusted. Something a simple 2 minute phonecall would do and would normally be done after a simple request for a phone call from the nurse. Is it any wonder the surgery is struggling and upsetting so many of thier patients if I have to wait 2 weeks to get this answer and someone else who needs a face to face appointment will now have to wait longer.

Not possible to book face to face appointment. After you sent the econsult form 2 to 4 weeks when they call back to discuss about your problem. On the reception the staff don't know anything. Give the booking card but did not book the appoitment in the system. You have to rebook again . Never call you in time.

  6. Review titled Awful service

Virtually impossible to see a doctor. Still got e.consult so good excuse to give you as much difficulty as possible to see a doctor...rude receptionists. Still hiding behind e.consult. should be investigated!

  7. Review titled Frustrated

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 08 September 2023

My husband strained his back at work and was unable to continue working this was on the 19th July. His company requested a fit note. Well this was like trying to touch the crown jewels !! each time he went to the surgery he was told do an e-consult form. Which he did only to get 2 text messages one after the other saying a GP had triaged my husband and a physio therapist would call him on the 29th August then a second text following the second e-consult form, a physio therapist would call him on 11th September!! My husband goes back to the surgery again, this is the 4th time. Reception denied all knowledge of the first e-consult form he completed so he backed it up showing the two text messages he'd received and saying I do not need 2 phone calls I'd just like a fit note. He's told no you can't have a fit note until you have seen a GP first. So he asks for a GP appointment, my husband is told no you must wait until you see the physio. He explains but this is not a face to face appointment it is a phone call how will I get a fit note via a phone call. By this time several weeks have gone by since my husband first reported this to the surgery and he's still not fit enough to return to work. He was being pressured form his place of work so obviously he was becoming very frustrated and anxious. When he expressed his frustration the young receptionist accused him of verbal abuse and said she was going to walk away!!!! My husband was not verbally abusive he did not use any offensive language or swear, he was frustrated, not a good situation to be in considering my husband had a heart attack 18 months ago. Eventually he receives a call from the physio therapist who asks lots of questions and finishes with I'll do you a sick note and attach some exercises for you to do, you can collect it from reception. Finally he has a fit note he can take in to his employers but this has taken 6 weeks!!! After collecting the fit note he then receives a letter from the surgery stating due to his abusive behaviour this is a warning and if it happens again he would be struck off the register. Unbelievable and disgusting patient care.

  8. Review titled Appalling GP service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Judy - Posted on 01 November 2023

I am a single of triplets despite being in general good health have been seen once by their GP Getting their prescriptions is a total nightmare and their care not being prioritised. One of my triplets had really bad reflux and I had to take him to A&E as no doctor was available to see him despite being ill all night and I'm constant pain. My experience is that myself and my children are treated as second class citizens and a bother to the GP. I feel.likw I have to beg just to get the required care. This practice makes me have anxiety just to contact them. Would not recommend at all. The few times I have has to contact them left me physically and mentally exhausted

Have continuous toe problems not just ingrowing pain lots of other problems I did an on line e consult saying I had bad pain and had a response saying they don't dish out antibiotics for it and no longer do podiatry and I'll have to pay . Ok no problem I'm type1 diabetic I need it seen to .But at no time did I ask or want antibiotics they assumed that what I was asking for . Also are they no longer looking after diabetics feet and allowing them to either pay out for podiatrist or just suffer if they can't due to cost of living crisis .
