Got an appointment, same day, on a Monday. The GP was very attentive to me, checked various details on my records and provided a prescription to relieve my symptoms. The GP also promised to seek a follow up scan for me.

After having stents to my heart I started to have carpal tunnel pain to hand and arm the practice have been very considerate and helpful to cope with the pain whilst I wait for the hospital appointment comes through

The receptionist was lovely i explained my issue, she was really understanding and arranged a physio appointment the next day. Fantastic service. On visiting the physio he listened and advised of next steps reassuring me.

I just wanted to leave a compliment for Woodside. Myself and my family have had to make several appointments recently and have all had a positive experience. Booking an appointment for myself was quick and easy, I had a call-back and same day appointment. When in the 2 appointments, both doctors were reassuring and put me at ease but they were also thorough in questions and exams/tests. Thankfully I have had good healthy results. I feel reassured and am glad I went. Thank you to the wonderful staff who listened and took the time to thoroughly explore all avenues. I felt listened to and am very glad I went as I am now confident in my health and feel reassured going into the festive season. Thank you and best wishes.

I struggle alot with my mental health and have said to doctors before that I find it hard to speak on the phone due to my mental health issues. They never care. Recently I have taken turn for the worst and have felt very low. Last month received txt from gp to book routine appointment ? I rang and waited in the queue one day, to be told I will be rang back - i was not, I rang again to be told that i have been placed in the queue for call back - no call back , I have rang yet again to be told that it's my fault and they will rebook call back - nothing, yet again happened but I got an txt saying I do not need to see gp no more. Yesterday I again received the same text from gp. Today.. I have rang the gp , receptionist is as rude as always telling me to ring again tomorrow. It is depressing, I do not know why the gp wants me? Then does not. It has been stress inducing ,especially ringing the cold receptionists at 8am for them to just never ring you back or put you in the queue. Great.

We are sorry to hear that you had difficulty with the call back service on our telephone system. Patients who call us again on the same number, when they have already requested a call-back unfortunately get removed from the call-back queue. This is not ideal and we have made contact with the telephone provider to see if this can be addressed in the next update, as we appreciate that this is very frustrating and confusing for our patients. If you could email the practice on cwicb.woodsidemc.m86034@nhs.net with the details of the telephone number you called from, we will listen to the recording and address this with the appropriate staff member. Please also confirm whether you have managed to speak to a Doctor at the practice yet. Many thanks.

I’d like to personally thank Dr ho’c for her support in helping to treat my skin for guttate psoriasis. After months of feeling down about my skin, Dr ho’c identified straight away the cause of my bad skin. I cannot thank her enough for her professionalism, as well as getting me checked in again for a review. In two weeks, my skin has almost cleared up to its usual form and I could not be more grateful! Thank you again!
