Saw the practice nurse today for my usual blood pressure check. Made to feel relaxed and at ease and I was not rushed at all.

Review titled Phone consult with nurse
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Janine Paine - Posted on 09 October 2024
Friendly helpful throughout entire practice. Popped in monday reception helped me with logging my pod reading & made a phone consultation appointment with nurse The nurse rang me cheerful really uplifting lots of advice when struggling with menopause symtoms. Eg weight gain. She went through my medication history asked if i had any concerns bleeding etc. at present i feel im in a good place with 3 pumps of gel. I was advised if necessary symptoms come back it could go up one more pump with drs authorisation. The nurse then advised me that she would put my script through for more gel. Then reminded me i hadnt booked flu vaccination so we booked that in. The nurse is a credit to the surgery always a pleasure thank you

Review titled Fantastic practice nurse
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I called for an appointment to see a nurse. Was booked in for an appointment with her the following day. She listened to me patiently with understanding and empathy, she talked me through my worries explaining carefully the pros and cons of the treatment I had gone to see her about. Reassuring me throughout. I never felt rushed. She seemed to understand where I was coming from, even though I felt like I was explaining my worries in such a jumbled up way. Once my treatment was agreed, she assured me that we would have a follow up to see how I was getting on. I left the surgery feeling understood, valued and like there was light at the end of the tunnel. She is a fantastic asset to Wrafton and I feel very lucky to have been able to talk my worries through with her.

Review titled Seen quickly

Went in for my flu vaccine and the nurse that done it was very friendly and really nice. I was pleased with the way it went. I asked at the desk if my son could have and emergency appointment as his wisdom tooth had come through making his gums very very sore (our dentist has closed down) he just needed antibiotics but I was told no!! Very disappointing as he's in great pain and can hardly talk. All he can do is take ibuprofen every few hours which is not that good My poor son,why can't he just be given antibiotics?

Review titled Fantastic practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I am 89 and cut my leg quite badly. I didn’t want to spend 5-6 hours at A&E so my son took me to Wrafton house surgery. From start to finish they all could not have been any more helpful and thoughtful. I had no right to be seen because I had not booked anything but the receptionist asked one if the nurses to go out to the car to check my leg. She then helped me inside and dressed it for me. At 89 I worry abouts cuts and blood but they were so lovely.

Booking system very good, didn't have to wait too long to get an appointment, always find them very accommodating and helpful. Practice Nurse made me feel like an individual and not a number.
