I ordered medication via the online app this morning and it was ready at the pharmacy for collection this evening. This is compared with collecting for my cousin who is linked with a different practice: something ordered on Tuesday and only ready at the pharmacy today: the slowness is not the pharmacy

Hi Sylvia, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback and 5 stars, we do appreciate it. Ordering medication online is a very convenient and effective option. Some people are little reluctant to use the app at first, but once they see how easy it is, they often say they wished they’d signed up it earlier! I personally love the app. I even set up a reminder, so I never have to worry about forgetting to request my prescription, no matter how hectic life can get at times :-) Kind regards Jo Wychall Lane Surgery

Reception team are always polite on the phone and in person. Good online booking for my last GP appt. GP took time to review things and referred me on as necessary. HCA excellent and thorough at most recent appointment.

The reception staff work so hard ensuring the practice runs smoothly and effectively, they're a wonderful team and your recognition of their efforts will be greatly appreciated by them and all the clinical team. The online booking system via the NHS app and the V consult is becoming more popular and many patients prefer the convenience of not having to ring the surgery to get an appointment. It can also be used for booking medication reviews, sick notes, requesting online services or requesting medication, it really is a great system, and it works! We're so pleased that you find WLS to be a good practice. The surgery has an excellent, efficient way of dealing with my problems with arthritis. I have seen people with other practices complain about not being seen this is not the case with Wychall Lane. Wychall Lane is excellent in seeing patients. The triage system works so well. A lot of people do not need to see the doctor in person and can explain thier symptoms over the phone and there is always an option to book an appointment if the doctor wishes to see the patient. The staff are always polite and efficient and nice to speak to.

Hi Fiona, Thank you so much for your kind comments and 5 stars! Telephone consultations are a great option for patients who either can’t get to the surgery, or just don’t have the time to attend. We always offer our patients the choice of face to face or telephone consultations and of course there’s always the option of using the LIVI app, which is a very popular FaceTime service. Wychall Lane Surgery is an extremely good surgery and all the staff are excellent, from the doctors to the receptionists, the nurses to the medical staff. Nothing is too much trouble when they need to do something. My parents moved closer to me last winter and are now also enrolled at the same practice as me. Both have needed extra medical care since moving and the surgery has been very supportive to them too. For instance, recently my Mum has had a hip replacement operation and was quickly booked in for an appointment following swelling in her operated leg. The doctor she saw was extremely efficient and acted quickly to get her leg checked at hospital. Keep up the good work!

I phoned the surgery today to sort out appointments/blood tests/sick note and appointment with the Gp, I was not hurried or rushed, your receptionist went above and beyond to help me, I have not felt so listened to and cared about before, I have to praise whoever employed her, she's an asset to the surgery

Called in on time, nurse who I seen was above and beyond helpful, listened to me very carefully, explained all my results clearly to me, read all my notes carefully and talked to me in a way I understood everything , left me feeling I had achieved a goal of trying to be healthier with my previous illnesses, Thank you so very much for making me feel important as a patient and taking time with me so I understood everything. Very highly recommended.

In the last 11 months I had numerous visits to see the doctors and nursing staff at this practice. The care I got was outstanding from being able to get an appointment with the receptionist, the professionalism and right medical care needed on my journey too recovery I'm very greaful.

Spoke to extremely helpful receptionist, sorted me out was not a problem,, saw a doctor 1hour later ,, the doctor was very professional, and easy to coumincate with excellent treatment plan ! I without any question recommend your surgery !

Had a cold in October last year. I'm asthmatic and I phoned up medication side fpr emergency prescription for one inhaler and I got told go to the pharmacy to get and get emergency prescription

my current treatment involves me having to see the nursing staff at the practice. I have always found them to be friendly and approachable, if I've had a question, and my appointed time has always been met. This is not a reflection on the practice, but I truly believe the medical staff of the uk are hugely undervalued by the government. it's all very well standing on doorsteps and applauding during covid, but to truly appreciate the valuable work that they do, is to pay them what they are worth. In conclusion, i have always been treated fairly at this practice, whether its medical or reception staff I am dealing with. keep it up!
