    I had an excellent consultation with the woman doctor. She listened and was very kind & knowledgeable. I felt very well looked after. My partner and I have been with this surgery for decades. All the staff from the receptionist, nurses to the doctors are amazing. They are empathetic, extremely helpful and reassuring. We feel very fortunate to have such a great practice. Unfortunately we realise they are under enormous pressure yet somehow they still deliver a wonderful standard of care. Thank you to all the staff for everything you have done for us. We are so grateful.

    The lady from the medication line is so caring and nice, no matter what I call for she is always there to help, when I call I have confidence that she will do anything within her power to help me, after losing faith in the practice, she makes me trust them again as I know there is help, she’s so accepting over the phone, and will explain everything to you in a way you will understand. I want to thank her for all the help she has given me, and given me faith in getting help again

    I am a GP and know how hard access for patients is in the current NHS climate of persistent Tory degradation. I also know how hard it is to be a patient! I have always had excellent online service, medication repeats, telephone and face to face appointments. All the GPs at the practice are great, but the one GP I choose to see is always exceptional and I could not have done without them when I was really unwell a couple of years ago. Thank you to everyone from reception and admin, to nursing and doctors.

    Had pre-booked telephone consultation this morning, two hours earlier than anticipated. I always find I get an excellent result from any of the many first-class doctors and/or practice nurse consultations I have had over the past decade or so, either face-to-face or on the telephone. However, I can sympathise with earlier comments about the difficulty in getting a telephone appointment as, in the past, I too have waited over 45 mins for the phone to be answered. I presume it's a symptom of the pressure the NHS and this excellent local GP practice are under.

    I arrived, receptionist was friendly helped and explained showed me how to use the new machine to take blood pressure,weight,height, the nurse welcomed me, I was not rushed, showed genuine interest in my health, went through all my results with me in a way I understood, answered any questions I needed to ask,it was so so reassuring when you go in the surgery door worried about your health and then your local nurse goes above and beyond and you have all these tests done and checks done at your local surgery and your nurse gives you all the results and a 12monthly check then I leave the room feel so reassured and pleased and much better in myself. A very big Thank you to All the Doctors and Nurses and Receptionists for the past 12 months for looking after my health.

    I phoned the surgery at 0800 today , got through at 0820, asked for an appointment or phone consultation to be told all appointments for today had gone, this after I had rang the last 4 days, I was told people queue at the reception to book appointments and that is why there were none left. I am 71yrs of age and recovering from a fractured hip and femur ,and they expect me to queue at the reception for an appointment. So I was offered an appointment at a nearby surgery for Saturday at 0900. This surgery used to be fantastic and Doctors would go to all lengths to help , however with 11 Doctors at the practice, no one seems bothered about patients these days. I’m not a complainer but felt so strongly about this , I felt I had to give my thoughts on todays fiasco.

    I'm cut off 50% of the time. I call at 8am and are 2 in line and get cut off when I become 1. The reception staff can be curt and rude. So even if I do get through I don't get the help I want

    You have to phone at 8 am or 2 pm to get an appointment. You are kept on hold for ages & can very rarely then an appointment. Really disappointing. You are made to feel like you are causing a fuss by asking to see a doctor.

    I have been helping my dad recently with various issues as he speaks limited English. The reception staff have been extremely helpful and friendly. The one doctor we have seen so far spent a lot of time going through my dad's conditions and she was excellent! I haven't had to book an appointment urgently, so can't comment on that aspect of the surgery that others seem to have trouble with. From my experience, I would really recommend the surgery.

    A new system has been introduced, for appointments to be made on the day, this morning I spent 31.00 minutes on the phone starting at number 6 when I finally reached number 1, the voice recording said “your call can no longer be completed , please try again later” I was then cut off! Feeling disappointed and frustrated, it’s not clear how you access your GP with this poor system.
