    My elderly neighbour rang this morning feeling unwell, but I had to get to a meeting in the city centre. I tried ringing and would have been number 6 on the waiting list so I went into the surgery and asked reception staff to arrange for a doctor to ring my neighbour and to visit later in the day. This worked wonderfully well, and my neighbour was very grateful for the speedy attention – as was I! Thanks to you all!

    I've been poorly for the last week, so 8am pronto I call the Surgery. I am to have gotten position 5 in the queue. At 8:10 moved to position 4, at 8:11 the call got cut off!! This has happened many many many times before. The surgery claims that this is a fault with the telephone system that is being looked but it has been like this for many many months. Anyway, I immediately call back but got given position 32 in the queue, held on for another 20 mins. Only managed to move to position 22 So I just gave up! I've not had any success calling for an appointment over the telephone for many many months now. I would highly recommend people to not join this surgery.

    Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. I apologies for the service you have received. We have had ongoing issues with our phone system which has been reported and we would like to assure you that we are doing everything possible to resolve this. The practice is in the process of changing the phone system in March 2024.     Called this morning at 8.00 am - 19th in the queue. As I did not have an hour to wait I gave up. My partner tried calling for me 10 minutes later. Phone response advised he was first in the queue, but he gave up after waiting 20 minutes with no response. Unsure whether surgery is under resourced or just poorly run. Time to take down banner saying taking new NHS patients and concentrate on the ones already on the books.

    Currently been waiting on the phone for nearly two hours to speak to some. I’ve been number one in the queue for 45mins. I started calling around 3.10pm on a Wednesday afternoon. I decided not to call in the morning as I thought it would be busy!

    Phoned today at 8 am, number 18, waited 40 minutesThis was expected as a Monday morning . Doctor phoned me after 11, saw the doctor at 2.10 pm and now have my medicine. What excellent service, many thanks.

    I have been on hold for over an hour. I have been first in the queue for over 45 minutes and the receptionist still hasn’t answered my call. This is absolutely unacceptable. How do you expect people to confidently call this GP when we can’t even get through? Appalling service and overall poor management.

    1st diabetic check today, very thorough and expertly done, the nurse explained everything they was going to do, It sounded daunting at 1st but was made really easy
