    Compared to experience from my previous surgery, Yardley wood health centre is great and very accessible in terms of booking things via text and email. The nurse who managed my appointment was really nice and professional. Very clear and concise. Very helpful too. Really happy I go to this surgery as things are sorted quickly for me.

    From an appointment point of view, the experience was good. However, the GP seemed to be in a rush and was treating us hastily. Even though we arrived early for our appointment, it felt like the GP was just trying to tick boxes. My daughter needed antibiotics for her swollen tonsils that was the reason we booked the appointment. The GP was not willing to listen to her other symptoms and insisted on booking a second appointment for those issues.

I am pleased you are enjoying our appointment system, however, am sorry you felt rushed during your appointment. Due to appointments only lasting 10-12 minutes, it is important that our clinicians only manage one presentation at a time, managing multiple conditions in one appointment can lead to missed diagnosis, so we do ask that you only discuss one health issue during your allocated time.     I really like this GP surgery, I'm not so keen on the on line booking system. If you're off the older generation like myself it's not easy to figure out, it takes time. That been said I managed to log my request and this time got a face to face appointment the same day, fantastic!

    This surgery had many issues, as many surgeries still do, long call wait times, no appointments left 5 mins after phone lines open and months before you get a routine appointment The surgery listened to the patients concerns and adapted thier systems to be able to meet our needs, and continue to do so Yardley Wood Health Centre has an open dialogue with the people registered at the surgery and strive to work better for us

    went for blood test, logged in waited a short while. The nurse/phlebotomist explain what she was going to do (I did know as I have had a few bloods done). When she had done, explained what would happen next. All sorted in about 15 mins from arrival to departure.
