On line system worked well. Same-day appointment. 15 minutes or so waiting time. G.P. professional,helped me understand what was going on,answered my questions,outlined future developments, concise and informative.

Doctor was very thorough with my condition, checking the history of it before then explaining all options going forward. He also referred me to the nurses for advice on changing dressings etc.

Lady I saw was to take bloods she was amazing answers all questions always happy and smiles never judges if u embarrassed about anything makes u feel very comfortable and main thing never rushes u

Excellent, thorough service from every doctor I have seen at this surgery, and this time was no exception. I was listened to, thoroughly examined, given medication, asked for a sample and referred for a chest x-ray. The only difficulty is in booking appointments, which is nigh on impossible, especially if you work. However, it is easy to get an appointment if you are very ill and you "ask a GP a question" during opening hours through the app, then they send you a link to a choice of doctors and appointments at the surgery, usually for the same or the following day. This is excellent but people should be able to just book an appointment if needed. Once you get to see a doctor, they are thorough and compassionate and refer you if necessary. I would recommend this surgery but you need to understand how it works, which I would imagine is not easy for the elderly or infirm.

I am sorry to hear you have struggled to book an appointment; our Medical Floreys (on website) are open every day from 8am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm; you can use this form to request a medical appointment. For patients who struggle to navigate an online appointment, they can call the practice or visit face to face, and one of our helpful receptionists will gather the information and submit a form on their behalf. All appointment requests are triaged by a GP who then advises on who best to conduct the appointment. Wish you could just make a Dr appointment at reception instead of having to do phone consultation first. Also don't think you should have to give personal details to a none dr when trying to book an appointment . On getting an appointment was able to see a lady dr which was my preferred choice who was friendly and helpful and put me at ease. Would definitely see this dr again without hesitation

Thank you for your comments regarding the booking process, when any patient requests an appointment (regardless of whether face to face, telephone or online) we gather as much structured information as possible and submit it onto a form - a GP then works through all the forms and allocates an appointment based on the right person for the presentation; we have adopted this approach to ensure every single appointment is utilized and our patients are seeing the right person at the right time. I saw a lady doctor on 10th June for my migraines and was prescribed propranolol and Sumitripan. I was not asked if I was asthmatic. My pharmacist explained the propranolol was a beta blocker which was not cardioselective, so this ended up having to be changed. I've just come to take the Sumitripan as I have migraine pain starting and looked to read the advice leaflet first, and I see that I shouldn't take this either due to having arrhythmia. Surely important points like this a doctor should ask you before prescribing medication.

I like how you submit a form Then they triage it I think this is a fair way of doing things. After triaging you may be offered a face to face, a telephone call or they may sign post you The GP’s are great. The staff I saw yesterday and he was lovely, professional and knowledgeable! He took his time to listen to my health issues and supported me to sort this out. Thank you
