Two paramedics attended to me this morning, often don't leave reviews though thought was in order as I received excellent level care throughout my 40 minutes with the paramedics, they related to my health issues I was suffering from, which to me is the main reason I wanted to leave a review as I think it's personal level care on the paramedics behalf and experience to do this, thank you for taking care of me..

This was the first and hopefully the last time of having a need to call 999 for an ambulance in Bedford and what a sad call it was. I rang with chest pain and rapid and falling heart rate, chest pain and arm pain, and was told it would be 90 minutes before any one could get to me, 90 minutes !! And was told that this would be a priority, that seems ridiculous my husband quickly got the car out and took me to hospital himself. The person we spoke to showed no compassion or interest or offer an explanation as to why it would be 90 minutes but I was shaken by that and now have no faith at all that the ambulance service will be there for us in an emergency and the only hope of receiving care in this situations you need to get yourself to hospital and hope you don’t die on the way !!

On the 19/06/24 two female paramedics visited me in my home, they were very reassuring and dealt with my problem so proficiently. Id like to apologise for not wanting to go to hospital but I just couldn`t face it. I would like to give them my sincere thanks for their help.

Mum was had chest pain . Ambulance called . very quick responce. the team that attended were spot on . Great work . Transport to hospital , an excellent couple and a credit to the service

Following a call to 111 an ambulance was dispatched to our house after my 92year old father had suffered a fall. The ambulance crew were so kind and caring. It restores your faith in humanity. Thank you from all his family. 111 call ref: 40751849 .

I called 999 with some reluctance after falling and banging my head in my kitchen. The paramedics arrived within ten minutes and after a quick, professional assessment and a quick change of blouse (it was rather blood soaked) and ensuring I had money and a charged mobile I was taken to Peterborough Hospital. The paramedics waited with me until I had a bed allocated to me and went above and beyond making me comfortable and reassuring me throughout. Thank you both, (I do remember your names and would like to mention them here but the guidance says no names or gender to be mentioned).

After a fall where due to the medication I am taking I was told not to move .It was unpleasant as it was pouring with rain.The ambulance arrived after 20 minutes which I thought was good timing . They apologised for keeping me waiting I was impressed how the crew made me feel as they continued their examination and quickly accessed I was ok to be moved .Inside the ambulance the crew continued in a professional way checking my statistics while keeping me calm and explained what they were doing .When we arrived at the hospital there was a wait and another crew had to take over due to a shift change. On being allocated a room this crew made sure I was comfortable in fresh warm hospital gown getting out of my wet clothes .I feel they went beyond their call of duty ,while again remaining professional and friendly. Later they were back with another patient but acknowledged me and asked how I was .Still going beyond their duty.

I was attended by an East of England ambulance crew in Ely after experiencing some extremely concerning symptoms. The way they assessed my symptoms was extremely thorough and professional whilst being very warm and reassuring. I was then taken by ambulance to Addenbrooks Hospital where the crew organised my admission quickly and efficiently. I can't rate them highly enough. This took place on the afternoon of May 23rd.

My husband was very unwell with an already terminal diagnosis. After 13 hrs and endless 111 calls advising a GP was en route I called an ambulance. Arrived within 30 minutes, co ordinator stayed in the line until the ambulance arrived. 2 lovely female paramedics arrived, really friendly empathetic, professional. Made sure my husband was comfortable. I cannot thank them enough. I wish I had taken more notice and knew their names as they were both so good and worked so well together. Took my husband to Broomfield and waited with us to make sure he was ok. We are very grateful and our daughter who was also there was too .

Called an ambulance on Saturday in South Essex and was taken to Basildon Hospital resus. They were brilliant with my 13 year old daughter who was in diabetic ketoacidosis. I was phoned in advance to explain that we were number one priority (unless a cardiac patient presented) talked me through everything and reassured me. Ambulance arrived within the time originally quoted and relatively quick. Straight into the house and had the stretcher and oxygen ready, very smooth journey and straight into resus for a prompt handove. Kept speaking with me and reassuring me. We are so, so grateful because you helped to save my daughter. Thank you to the crew. I think I saw Southend on some of the equipment labels or could have been Basildon. Either way, thank you again. All absolute stars!
