Review titled Really Good Experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by David Bousie - Posted on 03 June 2024
Last night I experienced a fainting attack and my Blood Pressure dropped. My wife rang the Ambulance Service and they arrived within 5 minutes. The paramedics gave me a through examination and stopped with me until I started to improve. The service I was given was "second to none" and I am thankful to the staff who turned out to look after me. Thank you.

I was treated very kindly and promptly by 3 paramedics for sharp chest pains and nausea. They took me to Warwick hospital. Further treatment was done there.

Review titled Amazing, quick care for my young son
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 06 May 2023
I called after my two year old son had fallen down the stairs and was subsequently extremely drowsy. I was so worried and panicked but every interaction I had with the emergency services was faultless and amazing. The paramedics and first responders who attended were first class and my son soon perked up. The paramedics were sure to stay with my son and I until we were all confident that he was okay after the fall and I just can't thank everyone enough. It was such a scary moment and everyone delivered first class care. Thank you so much for your care and reassurance.

Review titled Arrogant, unfeeling
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Deborah Fox - Posted on 26 May 2023
Father in lawn, who is 95 had come out of hospital. He was not for resuscitation in hospital. He made it clear to Dr's and all that knew him he did not want treatment and was ready to die. On discharge this was clearly written in discharge note. Unfortunately, the appropriate piece of paper from his own GP had not been done. We had asked his GP and this was on his todo list!! Needless ,to say he was due to come and live with us due to no longer able to cope. He had 4 care calls a day. On this night the carer was 1.5 hours late. He, I believe went to get his hotwater bottle etc thinking no one was coming. He was found in kitchen . CPR , against everyone's wishes was attempted. The ambulance man would not listen to my husband and said he was in charge and put the phone down on him. Unfortunately, things did become heated and both myself and husband were not polite, being told not to be abusive. Something we are not usually, however we were angry, upset and frustrated.

Review titled spiking - thank you for your care
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I wanted to say a big Thank You to the 111 operator and the ambulance crew who came out so promptly to carry out a thorough and very caring health check on my daughter who is a university student the morning after a suspected drink spiking. She had been very unwell and had no memory of events and her friends cared for her, kept her safe and got her home when she was so ill. The team confirmed it was likely a spiking incident and have checked her health is OK today. I feel like she was taken seriously and fully supported. A big thanks. Still got no idea why people spike other people's drinks - it is a terrible thing to do. But so glad the NHS have a system to care for victims of this.

Emergency ambulance arrived quickly after call to 111. The crew were thorough in assessing and addressing my problem. I had not thought I needed an ambulance but was very grateful for their extremely careful approach. They did not leave until they had assessed me thoroughly and given clear guidance for follow up. I was grateful and impressed.
